أكَّد أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، أن برنامج مدن التعلّم يُجسّد توجهات القيادةفي الاستثمار في الإنسان، وتعزيز ثقافة التعلّم المستمر، وبناء مجتمع معرفي يسهم في تنمية القدرات البشرية، وتعزيز الابتكار والإنتاجية، والمشاركة الإيجابية في مسيرة التنمية، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 وأهداف التنمية المستدامة.
جاء ذلك خلال تدشينه شعار برنامج مدن التعلّم بالمدينة المنورة، الذي يجسّد هوية المدينة كمدينة تعلّم، ويعكس تطبيق مجالات التعلّم الرئيسة والسمات العامة لمدن التعلّم.
واطّلع الأمير سلمان بن سلطان على الخطة الإستراتيجية لبرنامج مدن التعلّم بالمدينة المنورة، التي أُعدّت وفق مجالات التعلّم الرئيسية، والسمات والمعايير المعتمدة، وبما ينسجم مع متطلبات شبكة اليونسكو العالمية لمدن التعلّم، وتهدف إلى ترسيخ ثقافة التعلّم مدى الحياة، وتعزيز تكامل الجهود بين القطاعات المختلفة، والإسهام في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
وقدّم مدير عام التعليم بمنطقة المدينة المنورة، ناصر بن عبدالله العبدالكريم، شكره وتقديره لأمير منطقة المدينة المنورة، على دعمه ومتابعته لكل ما يُميّز ويجوّد عمليات التعلّم.
ويأتي هذا التدشين امتدادًا لما حققته المدينة المنورة من منجز وطني باعتمادها من منظمة اليونسكو كمدينة تعلّم ضمن الشبكة العالمية لمدن التعلّم، في خطوة تعكس التزام المملكة بدعم التعليم المستدام، وتبنّي أفضل الممارسات العالمية في بناء مجتمعات التعلّم.
The Prince of the Medina Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, confirmed that the Learning Cities program embodies the leadership's direction in investing in people, enhancing a culture of lifelong learning, and building a knowledge-based community that contributes to the development of human capabilities, promotes innovation and productivity, and encourages positive participation in the development journey, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
This came during the launch of the Learning Cities program logo in Medina, which embodies the city's identity as a learning city and reflects the implementation of the main learning areas and the general characteristics of learning cities.
Prince Salman bin Sultan reviewed the strategic plan for the Learning Cities program in Medina, which was prepared according to the main learning areas, the approved characteristics and standards, and in line with the requirements of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities. The plan aims to establish a culture of lifelong learning, enhance the integration of efforts among different sectors, and contribute to achieving sustainable development.
The Director General of Education in the Medina Region, Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Abdulkarim, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Medina Region for his support and follow-up on everything that distinguishes and improves learning processes.
This launch comes as an extension of what Medina has achieved as a national accomplishment by being recognized by UNESCO as a learning city within the Global Network of Learning Cities, in a step that reflects the Kingdom's commitment to supporting sustainable education and adopting the best global practices in building learning communities.
