توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس هذا اليوم (الأربعاء)، هطول أمطار رعدية مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على أجزاء من مناطق مكة المكرمة، الباحة، عسير، وجازان، وتكوّن الضباب خلال الليل وساعات الصباح الباكر على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، كذلك على أجزاء من مناطق شمال المملكة، في حين تؤثر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق الحدود الشمالية، الجوف، الشرقية، الرياض، والمدينة المنورة تمتد إلى الأجزاء الجنوبية من منطقة تبوك.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط بسرعة 20-40 كم/ساعة وجنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 15-30 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي وارتفاع المــوج من متر إلى مترين على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي يصل إلى أعلى من مترين ونصف مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
فيما ستكون حركة الرياح على الخليج العربي جنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة 15-33 كم/ساعة وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Wednesday) that thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers and active winds will occur in parts of the Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan regions. Fog is also expected to form during the night and early morning hours in parts of those regions, as well as in parts of the northern regions of the Kingdom. Meanwhile, active winds that stir up dust and sand will affect parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Eastern Province, Riyadh, and Medina, extending to the southern parts of the Tabuk region.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at a speed of 20-40 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part at a speed of 15-30 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. The wave height will range from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, reaching over two and a half meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. The sea condition will be light to moderate in the northern and central parts and light to moderate, becoming choppy with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.
Meanwhile, the wind movement over the Arabian Gulf will be southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 15-33 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea condition will be light to moderate.
