تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ينطلق اليوم (الإثنين)، في الرياض، المؤتمر الدولي لسوق العمل، الذي يُعقد تحت شعار «نصيغ المستقبل»، بمشاركة رفيعة المستوى من صُنّاع القرار وقادة الفكر والخبراء من مختلف دول العالم.
وأكّد وزير الموارد المهندس أحمد الراجحي أن انعقاد النسخة الثالثة من المؤتمر الدولي لسوق العمل تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين يُجسّد التزام المملكة بدورها الدولي في دعم الحوار العالمي حول مستقبل العمل، ومواجهة التحديات المشتركة التي تُعيد تشكيل أسواق العمل على مستوى العالم.
وأوضح أن المؤتمر يُمثّل منصَّة عالمية تجمع مختلف الأطراف الفاعلة لتبادل الخبرات وبناء رؤى مشتركة تُسهم في تطوير سياسات أكثر مرونة وشمولية، وتعزيز جاهزية القوى العاملة، وتحقيق التوازن بين النمو الاقتصادي وجودة الحياة؛ بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
ويشهد المؤتمر هذا العام حضوراً دولياً واسعاً، يضم أكثر من 10000 مشارك من 100 دولة، إلى جانب مشاركة أكثر من 40 وزير عمل، وممثلي المنظمات الدولية، والقطاع الخاص، والمؤسسات الأكاديمية، إضافة إلى مشاركة ما يزيد على 200 متحدث في أكثر من 50 جلسة حوارية.
ويُعقد المؤتمر على مدى يومين بشراكات إستراتيجية مع عددٍ من المنظمات الدولية.
ويركّز المؤتمر على ستة محاور رئيسية تعكس التحولات الكبرى التي تشهدها أسواق العمل العالمية، تشمل تحوّلات التجارة وتأثيرها على التوظيف، والاقتصادات غير الرسمية، والمشهد العالمي الجديد للمهارات، والتأثير الحقيقي للذكاء الاصطناعي على الوظائف والإنتاجية، وبناء أسواق عمل مرنة في أوقات الأزمات، وتعزيز جودة الوظائف مع اهتمام خاص بقضايا الشباب بوصفهم الركيزة الأساسية لاقتصاد المستقبل.
أول دفعة من أكاديمية سوق العمل
يتضمّن المؤتمر عدداً من الفعاليات المصاحبة، من أبرزها الاجتماع الوزاري لوزراء العمل الذي يجمع وزراء من أكثر من 40 دولة لمناقشة مسارات عملية وفورية للتوظيف في ظل التحوّلات العالمية، إضافة إلى توقيع اتفاقيات ومذكرات تفاهم، وتنظيم لقاءات ثنائية، وإطلاق مبادرات جديدة.
ويشهد المؤتمر العام، تخريج الفوج الأول من أكاديمية سوق العمل، في خطوة تهدف إلى بناء قدرات صُنّاع السياسات وتطوير الكفاءات المتخصصة في أسواق العمل، وتعزيز تبادل الخبرات الدولية في هذا المجال.
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the International Labor Market Conference kicks off today (Monday) in Riyadh, held under the slogan "Shaping the Future," with high-level participation from decision-makers, thought leaders, and experts from various countries around the world.
The Minister of Human Resources, Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi, confirmed that the holding of the third edition of the International Labor Market Conference under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques embodies the Kingdom's commitment to its international role in supporting the global dialogue on the future of work and addressing the common challenges that are reshaping labor markets worldwide.
He explained that the conference represents a global platform that brings together various stakeholders to exchange experiences and build shared visions that contribute to developing more flexible and inclusive policies, enhancing workforce readiness, and achieving a balance between economic growth and quality of life; in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
This year's conference witnesses extensive international attendance, with more than 10,000 participants from 100 countries, along with the participation of over 40 labor ministers, representatives of international organizations, the private sector, and academic institutions, in addition to more than 200 speakers in over 50 panel discussions.
The conference will be held over two days in strategic partnerships with several international organizations.
The conference focuses on six main themes that reflect the major transformations occurring in global labor markets, including trade transformations and their impact on employment, informal economies, the new global landscape of skills, the real impact of artificial intelligence on jobs and productivity, building flexible labor markets in times of crisis, and enhancing job quality with a special focus on youth issues as they are the cornerstone of the economy of the future.
First Batch of the Labor Market Academy
The conference includes several accompanying events, most notably the ministerial meeting of labor ministers, which brings together ministers from over 40 countries to discuss practical and immediate pathways for employment in light of global transformations, in addition to signing agreements and memoranda of understanding, organizing bilateral meetings, and launching new initiatives.
The general conference will witness the graduation of the first batch of the Labor Market Academy, in a step aimed at building the capacities of policymakers and developing specialized competencies in labor markets, as well as enhancing international experience exchange in this field.
