أكد الرئيس التنفيذي لقطاع بناء القدرات في الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي «سدايا» الدكتور أحمد الغامدي، أن القيادة تولي الإنسان أولوية قصوى في تنمية المملكة، إيمانًا منها بأن بناء القدرات وتنمية المواهب هو الأساس الحقيقي لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة وصناعة المستقبل الزاهر للبلاد، مبينًا أن ذلك الهدف يُعد محورًا رئيسًا في برامج ومبادرات «سدايا» لبناء القدرات في مجال البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي.
جاء ذلك خلال مشاركته في مؤتمر أبشر 2025، ضمن كلمة رئيسية ألقاها بعنوان «تمكين الشباب من مهارات المستقبل الرقمي»، استعرض خلالها جهود «سدايا» في تأهيل وبناء الكفاءات الوطنية، وتمكين الشباب بالمهارات الرقمية المتقدمة لمواكبة متطلبات التحول الرقمي، ومن ذلك تنظيمها مؤتمر (ICAN 2026) في يناير القادم.
ودعا الغامدي المختصين والمهتمين في مجالات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي والتعليم الرقمي إلى المشاركة في المؤتمر الدولي لبناء القدرات في البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (ICAN 2026) الذي تنظمه الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي خلال الفترة من 28 إلى 29 يناير 2026م في مقر جامعة الملك سعود بالرياض.
50 جهة محلية وعالمية
ولفت إلى أن المؤتمر تكمن أهميته في مشاركة خبراء من أكثر من 50 جهة محلية وعالمية، وعدد من الأكاديميين والمتخصصين من مختلف دول العالم، حيث سيثرون الجلسات وورش العمل بالمعلومات التي تصب في صالح تنمية الإنسان.
وأوضح أن مؤتمر ICAN 2026 منصة عالمية لمناقشة مستقبل بناء القدرات البشرية، واستشراف مستقبل العمل، وتعزيز التكامل بين الإنسان والتقنية، من خلال جلسات حوارية، وورش عمل، بجانب معرض تقني يستعرض أحدث حلول التعليم والتحول الرقمي، وتوقيع شراكات إستراتيجية مع جامعات ومؤسسات دولية، وإطلاق مبادرات نوعية لدعم منظومة القدرات الرقمية في المملكة.
The CEO of the Capacity Building Sector at the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority "SDAIA," Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, confirmed that the leadership places the utmost priority on human development in the Kingdom, believing that capacity building and talent development are the true foundations for achieving sustainable development and creating a bright future for the country. He indicated that this goal is a key focus in SDAIA's programs and initiatives for capacity building in the fields of data and artificial intelligence.
This came during his participation in the Absher 2025 conference, where he delivered a keynote speech titled "Empowering Youth with Future Digital Skills," in which he reviewed SDAIA's efforts in qualifying and building national competencies, and empowering youth with advanced digital skills to keep pace with the requirements of digital transformation, including organizing the (ICAN 2026) conference in January.
Al-Ghamdi called on specialists and interested parties in the fields of data, artificial intelligence, and digital education to participate in the International Conference on Capacity Building in Data and Artificial Intelligence (ICAN 2026), which is organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority from January 28 to 29, 2026, at King Saud University in Riyadh.

He pointed out that the importance of the conference lies in the participation of experts from more than 50 local and global entities, as well as several academics and specialists from various countries around the world, who will enrich the sessions and workshops with information that benefits human development.
He explained that the ICAN 2026 conference is a global platform for discussing the future of human capacity building, anticipating the future of work, and enhancing the integration between humans and technology, through dialogue sessions, workshops, alongside a technology exhibition showcasing the latest solutions in education and digital transformation, signing strategic partnerships with international universities and institutions, and launching qualitative initiatives to support the digital capacity ecosystem in the Kingdom.
