لا تزال الأمور ضبابية بشأن الاتفاق المرتقب حول مضيق هرمز، إذ أعلن مصدر إيراني أن الاتفاق المحتمل بين إيران وسلطنة عُمان بشأن مرور السفن عبر المضيق لا علاقة له بالفتح الفوري للمضيق.
ونقل التلفزيون الرسمي عن المصدر قوله، اليوم (الأربعاء): «حتى في حال التوصل إلى اتفاق بين إيران وسلطنة عُمان، لن يُفتح مضيق هرمز إذا استمرت الولايات المتحدة في انتهاكاتها.وزعمت أن فتح مضيق هرمز مشروط بتغيير سلوك الولايات المتحدة وتصحيح انتهاكاتها.
وكانت وسائل إعلام إيرانية رسمية نقلت عن مصدر مطلع إعلانه أن الاتفاق مع سلطنة عُمان بشأن مضيق هرمز تأخر بسبب ما وصفها بالتهديدات التي أطلقها الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب. وقال المصدر إنه «طالما استمرت التدخلات الأمريكية والتهديد بشن هجوم عسكري على إيران، فسيظل التوصل إلى الاتفاق مؤجلاً».
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أعلن أن المفاوضات مع إيران «جيدة»، وأن الأمور تسير بشكل «جيد للغاية». وحذّر ترمب (الثلاثاء) إيران من التراجع عن إبرام اتفاق مرة أخرى، قائلاً إن الولايات المتحدة «ستضربهم بشدة حينها»، وذلك وسط ترقب للإعلان عن اتفاق مع طهران ومسقط بشأن فتح مضيق هرمز. وأضاف في مقابلة مع قناة «فوكس نيوز»، أن الإيرانيين «يفهمون ذلك جيداً. لن يكون لدي أي خيار».
فيما أفادت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية "CENTCOM"،بأن المسار الجنوبي عبر مضيق هرمز لا يزال مفتوحاً ومتاحاً لجميع السفن التجارية الراغبة في عبور الممر المائي الدولي. وأضافت، عبر منصة «إكس»، أن القوات الأمريكية ساعدت خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية، أكثر من 1,000 سفينة على عبور المضيق بنجاح، رغم ما وصفته بـ«العدوان الإيراني غير المبرر»، مشيرة إلى أن عمليات العبور مستمرة حتى اليوم.
Things remain unclear regarding the anticipated agreement concerning the Strait of Hormuz, as an Iranian source announced that the potential agreement between Iran and Oman regarding the passage of ships through the strait is not related to the immediate opening of the strait.
The official television reported the source as saying today (Wednesday): “Even if an agreement is reached between Iran and Oman, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened if the United States continues its violations.” It claimed that the opening of the Strait of Hormuz is conditional on changing the behavior of the United States and correcting its violations.
The Iranian media reported that an informed source announced that the agreement with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz has been delayed due to what it described as threats issued by President Donald Trump. The source stated, “As long as American interventions and the threat of a military attack on Iran continue, reaching an agreement will remain postponed.”
President Donald Trump announced that negotiations with Iran are “good,” and that things are going “very well.” Trump warned Iran (on Tuesday) against backing out of an agreement again, saying that the United States “will hit them hard then,” amid anticipation of an announcement regarding an agreement with Tehran and Muscat about opening the Strait of Hormuz. He added in an interview with Fox News that the Iranians “understand that very well. I will have no choice.”
The U.S. Central Command "CENTCOM" reported that the southern route through the Strait of Hormuz remains open and available to all commercial ships wishing to cross the international waterway. It added, via the platform “X,” that U.S. forces have assisted over 1,000 ships in successfully crossing the strait in the past three months, despite what it described as “unjustified Iranian aggression,” noting that crossings are ongoing to this day.
