مع انطلاق المرحلة الثانية للتسجيل في المنصة الوطنية للقبول الموحد «قبول».. رصدت «عكاظ»، محدودية التخصصات المطروحة في عدد من الجامعات عبر القبول المباشر، واقتصار معظمها على تخصصات يغلب عليها الجانب النظري وتُطرح بمقابل مالي.
وأظهر المسح، أن الرسوم الدراسية للتخصصات المتاحة تبدأ بنحو 3,300 ريال للفصل الدراسي الواحد، ما يرفع تكلفة دراسة البكالوريوس إلى نحو 30 ألف ريال في عدد من البرامج، وسط تراجع ملحوظ في طرح التخصصات العلمية والهندسية مقارنة مع التخصصات النظرية.
كما رصدت «عكاظ»، اختفاء الكليات التقنية من خيارات منصة «قبول» في المرحلة الحالية دون إعلان يوضح السبب، ما أثار تساؤلات عدد من المتقدمين، خصوصاً الراغبين في الالتحاق بالبرامج التقنية والمهنية.
وأكد عدد من الطلاب لـ«عكاظ»، أن محدودية الخيارات دفعت بعضهم إلى التوجه نحو البرامج المدفوعة لضمان الحصول على مقعد جامعي، فيما فضّل آخرون انتظار إعلانات قبول إضافية من الجامعات.
وكانت منصة «قبول»، أرجأت فتح المرحلة الثانية للتسجيل يوماً كاملاً بعد تعرضها لعطل فني مفاجئ، قبل أن تستأنف استقبال طلبات المتقدمين، وسط إقبال كبير من خريجي الثانوية الباحثين عن المقاعد المتبقية.
With the launch of the second phase of registration on the national unified admission platform "Qabul" ... "Okaz" has observed the limited specializations offered at several universities through direct admission, with most of them focusing on theoretical specializations that are offered for a fee.
The survey showed that the tuition fees for the available specializations start at around 3,300 riyals per semester, raising the cost of studying for a bachelor's degree to about 30,000 riyals in several programs, amid a noticeable decline in the offering of scientific and engineering specializations compared to theoretical specializations.
"Okaz" also noted the absence of technical colleges from the options on the "Qabul" platform in the current phase without any announcement clarifying the reason, which raised questions among several applicants, especially those wishing to enroll in technical and vocational programs.
Several students confirmed to "Okaz" that the limited options pushed some of them to turn to paid programs to ensure obtaining a university seat, while others preferred to wait for additional admission announcements from the universities.
The "Qabul" platform had postponed the opening of the second phase of registration for a full day after experiencing a sudden technical malfunction, before resuming the reception of applicants' requests, amid a large turnout from high school graduates seeking the remaining seats.
