تُمثّل مجالس المناطق في السعودية مرتكزاً مهماً وداعماً للتنمية المستدامة، من خلال إسهام الكفاءات الوطنية في دعم مسيرة التنمية المحلية والعمل المتكامل لتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية 2030، في الاقتصاد المزدهر والمجتمع الحيوي والوطن الطموح.
لقد شكّل صدور الأمر السامي، أمس (الثلاثاء)، بالموافقة على تعيين أعضاء مجالس مناطق المملكة الـ13 في فترتها الثامنة، دفعةً جديدةً لمسيرة النهضة والتطوير والإنماء، لتحقيق تطلعات المواطنين في جميع المناطق والمحافظات والمدن والبلدات والقرى، ورفع مستوى العمل الإداري، إلى جانب دراسة ما تحتاجه المنطقة من خدمات ومرافق، وتحديد أولويات المشاريع والمخططات التنظيمية للمدن والقرى.
وتمتد مهمات ومسؤوليات أعضاء مجالس المناطق إلى مختلف القضايا التي تهم المجتمعات والأسرة والمرأة، والمشاركة الفاعلة في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية 2030. ويعوّل المواطنون على الأعضاء في العمل المستمر والمثابرة لخدمة المواطنين وقضاياهم، وتحقيق تطلعاتهم في التنمية والرخاء والازدهار.
The regional councils in Saudi Arabia represent an important cornerstone and support for sustainable development, through the contribution of national competencies in supporting the local development journey and the integrated work to achieve the targets of Vision 2030, in a thriving economy, a vibrant society, and an ambitious nation.
The issuance of the royal decree yesterday (Tuesday), approving the appointment of members of the 13 regional councils of the Kingdom for their eighth term, has provided a new impetus for the journey of renaissance, development, and growth, to meet the aspirations of citizens in all regions, governorates, cities, towns, and villages, and to elevate the level of administrative work, alongside studying the needs of the region for services and facilities, and determining the priorities of projects and organizational plans for cities and villages.
The tasks and responsibilities of the members of the regional councils extend to various issues that concern communities, families, and women, and active participation in achieving the targets of Vision 2030. Citizens rely on the members for continuous work and perseverance to serve citizens and their issues, and to fulfill their aspirations for development, prosperity, and flourishing.
