في مشهد مأساوي حوّل خلافاً عائلياً إلى فاجعة إنسانية، شهد أحد مخيمات النازحين في محافظة حجة شمال غربي اليمن حادثة دامية، بعدما ألقى رجل قنبلة يدوية داخل ملجأ تقيم فيه أسرة زوجته، ما أسفر عن سقوط ضحايا من الأطفال وإصابة آخرين.
ووفقاً لمصادر محلية، وقعت الحادثة في مديرية عبس جنوب غربي محافظة حجة، عندما توجّه الزوج النازح إلى ملجأ يضم أفراداً من أسرة عمه ووالد زوجته، خلال اجتماع كان مخصصاً لمناقشة الخلاف القائم بينه وبين زوجته ومحاولة الوصول إلى حل.
لكن النقاش انتهى بطريقة مأساوية، بعدما أقدم الرجل على إلقاء قنبلة يدوية داخل الملجأ، ما أدى إلى مقتل طفل يبلغ من العمر 10 أعوام، وطفلة لم تتجاوز عامها الثاني، إضافة إلى إصابة شخصين آخرين، أحدهما منفذ الهجوم نفسه.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن الأجهزة الأمنية في مديرية عبس تمكنت من ضبط المتهم عقب وقوع الحادثة، وبدأت باتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقه تمهيداً لإحالته إلى الجهات القضائية المختصة.
In a tragic scene that turned a family dispute into a humanitarian disaster, a bloody incident occurred in one of the displacement camps in Hajjah Governorate, northwestern Yemen, after a man threw a hand grenade inside a shelter where his wife's family was staying, resulting in casualties among children and injuries to others.
According to local sources, the incident took place in the Abs district, southwest of Hajjah Governorate, when the displaced husband went to a shelter housing members of his uncle's family and his wife's father during a meeting intended to discuss the ongoing dispute between him and his wife and to try to reach a resolution.
However, the discussion ended tragically when the man threw a hand grenade inside the shelter, leading to the death of a 10-year-old boy and a girl who had not yet turned two, in addition to injuring two other people, one of whom was the attacker himself.
The sources indicated that the security forces in the Abs district managed to apprehend the suspect following the incident and began taking the necessary legal actions against him in preparation for referring him to the relevant judicial authorities.
