أعادت أسرة العندليب الأسمر الفنان الراحل عبدالحليم حافظ فتح منزله في حي الزمالك أمام الزوار مجدداً بضوابط جديدة بعد أزمة السائح الكويتي.
تنظيم الزيارات
وأوضح نجل شقيق الفنان الراحل محمد شبانة أن الأسرة لم تتخذ قراراً بإغلاق المنزل، وإنما قررت إعادة تنظيم الزيارات بعد واقعة وصفها بغير اللائقة، تمثلت في قيام أحد الزوار بالاستلقاء على سرير عبدالحليم حافظ والتقاط صور تذكارية، وهو ما اعتبرته الأسرة تجاوزاً لحرمة المكان وعدم احترام لقيمته التاريخية، مشيراً إلى أن الزيارات ستتم مستقبلاً بالتنسيق المسبق مع الأسرة، مع استقبال الأشخاص المعروفين أو الموثوق بهم، بما يضمن الحفاظ على المقتنيات النادرة ومنع تكرار أي تصرفات قد تعرّضها للتلف أو العبث.
مقتنيات خاصة
ويضم منزل «العندليب الأسمر» مجموعة كبيرة من المقتنيات التي تحولت مع مرور الزمن إلى شاهد على تاريخ أحد أهم نجوم الغناء العربي، من بينها ملابسه الخاصة، ونظارته الشهيرة، وآلات موسيقية استخدمها، وخطابات ووثائق بخط يده، إلى جانب الجوائز والأوسمة التي حصل عليها، وصور تجمعه بعدد من كبار نجوم الفن والشخصيات العامة، فضلاً عن غرفة نومه ومكتبه اللذين لا يزالان يحتفظان بتفاصيلهما الأصلية. يوم مفتوح وأكدت الأسرة في الوقت نفسه استمرار تنظيم اليوم المفتوح لزيارة المنزل بالتزامن مع ذكرى رحيل عبدالحليم حافظ، بما يتيح لجمهوره ومحبيه فرصة الاطلاع على مقتنياته في أجواء منظمة تحافظ على القيمة التاريخية للمكان.

The late artist's nephew, Mohamed Shabana, explained that the family did not decide to close the house, but rather chose to reorganize the visits after an incident he described as inappropriate, where a visitor lay on Abdel Halim Hafez's bed and took souvenir photos. The family considered this a violation of the sanctity of the place and a lack of respect for its historical value. He noted that future visits will be coordinated in advance with the family, welcoming known or trusted individuals to ensure the preservation of rare artifacts and prevent any actions that could lead to damage or tampering.
Personal Artifacts
The "Nightingale" house contains a large collection of artifacts that have, over time, become a testament to the history of one of the most important stars of Arabic music. Among these are his personal clothes, his famous glasses, musical instruments he used, letters and documents in his handwriting, as well as the awards and honors he received, and photos of him with several major stars of art and public figures, in addition to his bedroom and office, which still retain their original details.
