كشف مسح أجرته «عكاظ»، اتجاه عدد كبير من فنادق الطائف إلى طرح تخفيضات على أسعار الإقامة، وصلت إلى 100 و150 ريالاً لليلة الواحدة، بالتزامن مع استمرار الموسم السياحي وتزايد خيارات السكن أمام الزوار.
وأظهرت تطبيقات الحجز الإلكترونية المتخصصة، أن أسعار عدد من الغرف التي كانت تصل إلى نحو 450 ريالاً لليلة الواحدة انخفضت إلى ما بين 310 و350 ريالاً، ما يعادل خصومات بنحو 30% في بعض المنشآت، في ظل المنافسة على استقطاب المصطافين.
وتتركز الحركة السياحية في وجهات الطائف الأكثر جذباً، وفي مقدمتها الهدا، والشفا، والردف، والمنطقة التاريخية، والمواقع الأثرية، إلى جانب الإقبال المتزايد على المزارع السياحية التي أصبحت من أبرز خيارات الزوار.
في المقابل، تواصل محافظة الطائف تسجيل نمو في الطاقة الاستيعابية لقطاع الضيافة، إذ كشفت وزارة السياحة، أن المحافظة حققت ارتفاعاً في أعداد مرافق الضيافة والغرف المرخصة، ضمن جهود تنظيمية تهدف إلى توفير خيارات إقامة ترتقي بتجربة الزوار وتعكس جودة الخدمات وأصالة الضيافة السعودية.
وأوضحت الوزارة، أن عدد مرافق الضيافة المرخصة في الطائف بلغ 317 مرفقاً، تضم 11,635 غرفة مرخصة، بزيادة 23% في عدد المرافق و16% في عدد الغرف مقارنة بمايو 2025، وهو ما يعكس توسع الاستثمارات السياحية وارتفاع الطاقة الاستيعابية بالتزامن مع تنامي الحركة السياحية في المحافظة.
A survey conducted by "Okaz" revealed that a large number of hotels in Taif are offering discounts on accommodation prices, reaching 100 and 150 riyals per night, coinciding with the ongoing tourist season and the increasing housing options available to visitors.
Specialized electronic booking applications showed that the prices of some rooms, which were around 450 riyals per night, have decreased to between 310 and 350 riyals, equivalent to discounts of about 30% in some establishments, amid competition to attract vacationers.
The tourist movement is concentrated in the most attractive destinations in Taif, primarily Al-Hada, Al-Shifa, Al-Rudaf, the historical area, and archaeological sites, alongside the growing interest in tourist farms, which have become one of the most prominent options for visitors.
On the other hand, the Taif governorate continues to record growth in the accommodation capacity of the hospitality sector, as the Ministry of Tourism revealed that the governorate has seen an increase in the number of licensed hospitality facilities and rooms, as part of regulatory efforts aimed at providing accommodation options that enhance the visitor experience and reflect the quality of services and the authenticity of Saudi hospitality.
The ministry clarified that the number of licensed hospitality facilities in Taif has reached 317 facilities, comprising 11,635 licensed rooms, marking a 23% increase in the number of facilities and a 16% increase in the number of rooms compared to May 2025, which reflects the expansion of tourism investments and the rise in accommodation capacity in tandem with the growing tourist movement in the governorate.
