افتتح متحف فيكتوريا وألبرت في لندن معرضاً يحمل عنوان «أناقة ماري أنطوانيت»، ويُعرض فيه نحو 250 قطعة نادرة تعود إلى الملكة الفرنسية التي ارتبط اسمها بالفخامة والبذخ.
ويضم المعرض ملابس رسمية وفساتين مترفة وأكسسوارات ومجوهرات إضافة إلى أدوات تجميل وعطور كانت تعكس أسلوب حياة البلاط الفرنسي في القرن الثامن عشر.
والهدف من المعرض هو تسليط الضوء على مدى تأثير ماري أنطوانيت على الموضة في زمانها وكيف ساهمت في تشكيل ذوق جمالي ظل حاضراً حتى اليوم، حيث يعتبرها كثيرون رمزاً للأناقة والترف رغم ما ارتبط باسمها من جدل سياسي واجتماعي.
The Victoria and Albert Museum in London has opened an exhibition titled "The Elegance of Marie Antoinette," featuring around 250 rare pieces belonging to the French queen whose name is associated with luxury and extravagance.
The exhibition includes formal wear, lavish dresses, accessories, and jewelry, as well as cosmetics and perfumes that reflect the lifestyle of the French court in the eighteenth century.
The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the extent of Marie Antoinette's influence on fashion in her time and how she contributed to shaping an aesthetic taste that remains present to this day, as many consider her a symbol of elegance and luxury despite the political and social controversies associated with her name.
