انطلقت في مدينة العلا السعودية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، اجتماعات قادة مؤتمر ميونيخ للأمن، بمشاركة وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان.
وأفادت وزارة الخارجية السعودية في بيان، بأن الاجتماع يتطرق إلى «العديد من التحديات الأمنية الراهنة واستكشاف مسارات الحلول للقضايا الإقليمية والدولية. ويناقش المجتمعون مختلف الملفات العالمية ومن أبرزها التطورات في قطاع غزة، وقضايا الأمن الغذائي العالمي وأمن المناخ والطاقة والجهود المبذولة بشأنها.

ويشارك في الاجتماع الذي يعقد للمرة الأولى في السعودية، نحو 100 شخصية رفيعة المستوى لـبحث التحديات الراهنة في السياسات الخارجية والأمنية.
وقالت الخارجية إن استضافة المملكة للمؤتمر تأتي «تأكيداً على التزامها بمبدأ الحوار الدولي وتعزيز التعاون في القضايا الإقليمية والدولية بما يعكس دعمها للتواصل الحضاري واستضافة المؤتمرات والمنصات في هذا الصدد».
ويتطرق المؤتمر الذي يعقد على مدى يومين في مسرح المرايا في العلا، إلى ملفات بارزة تشمل الملف النووي الإيراني، مستقبل سورية، القضية الفلسطينية، والحرب في أوكرانيا، بجانب أمن البحر الأحمر والطاقة، وأمن الغذاء والمناخ، والتكامل الاقتصادي، والممر الذي يربط بين الهند والشرق الأوسط وأوروبا.
كما يبحث الاجتماع التجارة العالمية والأزمات الإقليمية والتحول في مجال الطاقة وأمن طرق التجارة البحرية وجهود تحقيق السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة والأمن النووي، فضلاً عن تعزيز التعاون الإقليمي والدولي في مجالات الطاقة والتعاون الاقتصادي.
The meetings of the Munich Security Conference leaders kicked off today (Wednesday) in the Saudi city of Al-Ula, with the participation of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the meeting addresses "many current security challenges and explores pathways to solutions for regional and international issues. The attendees will discuss various global files, most notably developments in the Gaza Strip, global food security issues, climate and energy security, and the efforts being made in this regard.

Approximately 100 high-level figures are participating in the meeting, which is being held for the first time in Saudi Arabia, to discuss current challenges in foreign and security policies.
The Foreign Ministry stated that the Kingdom's hosting of the conference comes "as a confirmation of its commitment to the principle of international dialogue and enhancing cooperation on regional and international issues, reflecting its support for cultural communication and hosting conferences and platforms in this regard."
The conference, which will take place over two days at the Maraya Theater in Al-Ula, will address prominent files including the Iranian nuclear file, the future of Syria, the Palestinian issue, and the war in Ukraine, in addition to the security of the Red Sea and energy, food and climate security, economic integration, and the corridor connecting India, the Middle East, and Europe.
The meeting will also discuss global trade, regional crises, the energy transition, the security of maritime trade routes, efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region, and nuclear security, as well as enhancing regional and international cooperation in the fields of energy and economic collaboration.
