شارك المركز الطبي الدولي في النسخة الثامنة من ملتقى الصحة العالمي 2025 برعاية وزارة الصحة خلال الفترة من 27 إلى 30 أكتوبر في مركز الرياض للمعارض والمؤتمرات.
وتميزت مشاركة هذا العام بزخم خاص وتنوع ما بين: الإعلان عن جملة من المشاريع التوسعية، توقيع عدد من الاتفاقيات المهمة، التكريم والإشادة من مسؤولي وزارة الصحة، واستقبال عدد كبير من الزوار الذين يبدون حرصهم على الاطلاع على كافة برامج ومبادرات المركز الطبي الدولي المتفردة.
وقد تشرف جناح المركز الطبي الدولي في الملتقى باستقبال وزير الصحة فهد الجلاجل، ثم تشرف بزيارة لاحقة لنائب وزير الصحة المهندس عبدالعزيز بن حمد الرميح، حيث اطلعا في زيارتيهما على أحدث المشاريع التوسعية، إضافة إلى المشاريع الريادية المتفردة في تعزيز العافية وصناعة نموذج فريد عالمياً للرعاية الصحية الشمولية، ينطلق من الإنسان وإليه، مع وضع جودة الحياة والعافية الشاملة في قلب كل خدمة، إضافة إلى رسالة الكلية الطبية للمركز الطبي الدولي التي تعد الأحدث في المنطقة وتجمع ما بين توظيف أحدث تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم والتدريب الصحي من جهة وتأهيل الطبيب الحكيم من جهة أخرى، وهو الطبيب الذي يتصف بما لا يمكن للذكاء الاصطناعي تولي مهامه من حيث أنه «متمكن - متعاطف - شمولي - مدافع عن الصحة».
وخلال الملتقى حظي المركز الطبي الدولي بتكريم جديد يضاف لقائمته التكريمية من مجلس الضمان الصحي خلال حفل الإعلان عن أفضل مقدمي خدمات رعاية صحية تصنيفاً في برنامج «تصنيف ضمان» للنصف الأول من عام 2025، وذلك لتميزه وجهوده في تقديم رعاية صحية عالية الجودة والكفاءة لمستفيدي الضمان الصحي.
أما على صعيد توقيع الاتفاقيات والشراكات، فقد أبرم المركز الطبي الدولي اتفاقية تعاون مع شركة فيليبس إس إن جي، للتزود بـ: مختبر قسطرة ثنائي السطح الأكثر تطوراً، جهاز تصوير الأوعية الدموية الهجين مع نظام مرن، جهاز صدى القلب عالي الأداء.
وقد قام بتوقيع الاتفاقية كل من الدكتور وليد فتيحي رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الطبي الدولي، وأكرم صيرفي الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة فيليبس إس إن جي.
كما وقّع المركز الطبي الدولي مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة آفاق، الرائدة في تقنيات التعليم الصحي تهدف لتنمية قطاع التعليم الصحي وتعزيز تحول التدريب الصحي نحو بيئة رقمية مبتكرة، تسهم في تعزيز جودة التدريب ورفع كفاءة الكوادر الصحية.
وتأكيداً على أهمية التعاون وتبادل الخبرات؛ وقّع المركز الطبي الدولي اتفاقية تعاون مع المعهد الوطني لأبحاث الصحة بهدف دعم الأبحاث العلمية والابتكار، وتمكين الباحثين، وتنفيذ مشاريع مشتركة تسهم في تطوير الرعاية الصحية.
وفي خطوة مهمة لتعزيز البحث والابتكار في الذكاء الاصطناعي الطبي؛ وقّع الدكتور وليد فتيحي مع البروفيسور بيير ماجستريتي نائب الرئيس للأبحاث، مدير مبادرة الصحة الذكية بجامعة الملك عبدالله للعلوم والتقنية (كاوست)، مذكرة تفاهم بين المركز الطبي الدولي و«كاوست»، تهدف إلى تأسيس شراكة لتطوير التعاون في مجالات الأبحاث الصحية وإدارة العافية.
وختم المركز الطبي الدولي اتفاقياته بشراكة استراتيجية جديدة مع جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز لتعزيز مجالات التعاون البحثي والتدريبي وتأهيل الطلاب وبناء القدرات البحثية التي تهدف لإرساء مفهوم العافية وطول العمر وترسيخ مفهوم الصحة الشمولية، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في مجالي الصحة والتعليم.
الجدير بالذكر أن المركز الطبي الدولي الذي يُعد أول مستشفى خاص اعتمد لتدريب الأطباء في السعودية، والذي تميز بتقديم نموذج فريد في التثقيف الصحي والتوعية بأكثر من 90 فيلماً بعدة لغات، وتصميم «مؤشر العافية» الذي يُعد الأول من نوعه عالمياً، واستغرق عقدين من الزمن في صناعة نموذجه الخاص، يشهد حالياً مرحلة مهمة من المشاريع التوسعية باستثمارات تقدر بأكثر من 3 مليارات ريال، تشمل: المركز الطبي الدولي (مكة المكرمة)، المركز الطبي الدولي (أبحر)، المدينة الطبية للمركز الطبي الدولي (المدينة المنورة - أحد)، الكلية الطبية المتفردة بشراكات عالمية لتأهيل الطبيب الإنسان الحكيم.
The International Medical Center participated in the eighth edition of the Global Health Forum 2025, sponsored by the Ministry of Health, from October 27 to 30 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
This year's participation was marked by a special momentum and diversity, including: the announcement of several expansion projects, the signing of a number of important agreements, recognition and praise from officials of the Ministry of Health, and welcoming a large number of visitors who showed a keen interest in learning about all the unique programs and initiatives of the International Medical Center.
The International Medical Center's pavilion at the forum had the honor of receiving the Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajel, followed by a subsequent visit from the Deputy Minister of Health, Engineer Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih. During their visits, they were briefed on the latest expansion projects, in addition to the unique pioneering projects aimed at enhancing wellness and creating a globally unique model for comprehensive healthcare, centered around the individual, with quality of life and overall wellness at the heart of every service. This also includes the mission of the medical college of the International Medical Center, which is the latest in the region, combining the use of the latest artificial intelligence technologies in health education and training on one hand, and the qualification of the wise physician on the other hand— a physician characterized by qualities that artificial intelligence cannot assume, namely being "competent - empathetic - holistic - a health advocate."
During the forum, the International Medical Center received a new accolade added to its list of honors from the Health Insurance Council during the ceremony announcing the best-rated healthcare service providers in the "Dhaman Classification" program for the first half of 2025, due to its excellence and efforts in providing high-quality and efficient healthcare to health insurance beneficiaries.
As for the signing of agreements and partnerships, the International Medical Center signed a cooperation agreement with Philips SNG to supply: the most advanced dual-surface catheterization laboratory, a hybrid angiography device with a flexible system, and a high-performance echocardiography device.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Walid Fitaihi, Chairman of the Board and CEO of the International Medical Center, and Akram Sirfi, CEO of Philips SNG.
The International Medical Center also signed a memorandum of understanding with Afaaq, a leader in health education technologies, aimed at developing the health education sector and enhancing the transformation of health training towards an innovative digital environment, contributing to improving the quality of training and raising the efficiency of health personnel.
Emphasizing the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange, the International Medical Center signed a cooperation agreement with the National Institute for Health Research aimed at supporting scientific research and innovation, empowering researchers, and implementing joint projects that contribute to the development of healthcare.
In an important step to enhance research and innovation in medical artificial intelligence, Dr. Walid Fitaihi signed a memorandum of understanding with Professor Pierre Magistretti, Vice President for Research and Director of the Smart Health Initiative at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), aimed at establishing a partnership to develop cooperation in health research and wellness management.
The International Medical Center concluded its agreements with a new strategic partnership with King Abdulaziz University to enhance areas of research and training collaboration, qualifying students, and building research capacities aimed at establishing the concept of wellness and longevity and solidifying the concept of comprehensive health, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in the fields of health and education.
It is worth noting that the International Medical Center, which is the first private hospital accredited to train doctors in Saudi Arabia, has distinguished itself by providing a unique model in health education and awareness with over 90 films in multiple languages, and designing the "Wellness Index," which is the first of its kind globally, taking two decades to develop its own model. It is currently witnessing an important phase of expansion projects with investments estimated at over 3 billion riyals, including: the International Medical Center (Makkah), the International Medical Center (Obhur), the Medical City of the International Medical Center (Medina - Uhud), and the unique medical college with global partnerships to qualify the wise human physician.
