شارك وفد من المملكة العربية السعودية برئاسة مساعد وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية أحمد بن سفيان الحسن، وبمشاركة سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جورجيا سلمان بن عبدالرحمن آل الشيخ، في فعاليات «منتدى تبليسي لطريق الحرير» المقام في العاصمة الجورجية تبليسي في الفترة 22 - 23 أكتوبر 2025م، تحت عنوان «الاستثمار في التواصل–النمو في الاستقرار».
وافتتح رئيس الوزراء الجورجي إيراكلي كويبراجيدزه الأربعاء الماضي، المنتدى بحضور رؤساء ووزراء أرمينيا وأذربيجان، الذي عُقد على مستوى عالمي بمشاركة نحو 2000 مندوب من نحو 70 دولة، من بينهم رؤساء البعثات الدبلوماسية المعتمدة لدى جورجيا، وممثلون عن المنظمات الدولية والمؤسسات المالية الدولية، وممثلون من شركات القطاع الخاص الأجنبي ورجال الأعمال والخبراء.
وتميّز «منتدى طريق الحرير» لهذا العام 2025م بمشاركة شبكة التمويل والتقنية العالمية (GFTN) المنظمة للمنتدى، بالشراكة مع البنك الوطني الجورجي ووزارة الاقتصاد والتنمية المستدامة في جورجيا.
وعلى هامش المنتدى، بحث معاليه مع الجانب الجورجي مشاريع البنية التحتية للمطارات وزيادة الرحلات المباشرة بين البلدين، إلى جانب التعاون في النقل البري واللوجستيات.
واختتم المنتدى بالتركيز على مواضيع إستراتيجية تتعلق بقطاع النقل واللوجستيات، وتطوير مشاريع البنية التحتية، والابتكار في التكنولوجيا المالية، والطاقة، والتحول الرقمي، مع تسليط الضوء على البيئة الاستثمارية في قطاع المواصلات، والدور الذي تؤديه الدول المشاركة في تعزيز النمو المستدام.
A delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, headed by the Assistant Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Ahmed bin Sufyan Al-Hassan, and with the participation of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Georgia, Salman bin Abdulrahman Al-Sheikh, participated in the activities of the "Tbilisi Silk Road Forum" held in the Georgian capital Tbilisi from October 22 to 23, 2025, under the theme "Investing in Connectivity – Growing in Stability."
The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili opened the forum last Wednesday, in the presence of the Presidents and Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan. The forum was held at a global level with the participation of around 2000 delegates from approximately 70 countries, including heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Georgia, representatives from international organizations and international financial institutions, as well as representatives from foreign private sector companies, businessmen, and experts.
This year's "Silk Road Forum" in 2025 was distinguished by the participation of the Global Financing and Technology Network (GFTN), which organized the forum in partnership with the National Bank of Georgia and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
On the sidelines of the forum, His Excellency discussed with the Georgian side infrastructure projects for airports and increasing direct flights between the two countries, in addition to cooperation in land transport and logistics.
The forum concluded by focusing on strategic topics related to the transport and logistics sector, the development of infrastructure projects, innovation in financial technology, energy, and digital transformation, highlighting the investment environment in the transport sector and the role played by the participating countries in promoting sustainable growth.
