أوضحت وزارة التجارة، خطوات واشتراطات حجز اسمٍ تجاري لمنشأة تجارية بشكل إلكتروني عبر منصة المركز السعودي للأعمال، حيث يشترط للتقديم على الخدمة، ألا يقل عمر مقدم الطلب عن 18 عامًا، وأن يكون هو المستفيد من الاسم التجاري، أو مفوضًا عنه.
ويشترط للاسم التجاري، أن يتكون من ألفاظٍ عربية، أو معربة، أو من حروف، أو أرقامٍ عربية، أو من واحد أو أكثر منهما، وفي حال كان باللغة الإنجليزية يشترط أن يتكون من ألفاظ أو حروف أو أرقام، أو من واحد أو أكثر منها.
كما يشترط ألا يكون الاسم التجاري مخالفًا للنظام العام، أو الآداب العامة، أو يؤدي إلى التضليل، أو محظور استعماله، وألا يشابه اسما تجاريًا محجوزًا أو مقيدًا في السجل التجاري أيًا كان نوع النشاط، وألا يشابه اسمًا تجاريًا، أو علامة تجارية مشهورة عالميًا، أو يشابه علامة تجارية مسجلة أو مشهورة في المملكة.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أهمية الالتزام بكافة الاشتراطات والضوابط التي نصت عليها الأنظمة التجارية.

The Ministry of Commerce has clarified the steps and requirements for reserving a commercial name for a business electronically through the Saudi Business Center platform. It is required that the applicant be at least 18 years old and that they are the beneficiary of the commercial name or authorized on their behalf.
The commercial name must consist of Arabic words, or transliterated words, or Arabic letters or numbers, or one or more of these. If it is in English, it must consist of words, letters, or numbers, or one or more of these.
It is also required that the commercial name does not violate public order or morals, does not lead to deception, is not prohibited from use, does not resemble a reserved or registered commercial name in the commercial registry regardless of the type of activity, and does not resemble a globally famous commercial name or trademark, or a registered or famous trademark in the Kingdom.
The ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to all the requirements and regulations stipulated by commercial laws.
