وصل إلى دمشق، اليوم، وزير الاستثمار المهندس خالد الفالح، الذي يرأس وفداً سعودياً يضم أكثر من 150 شخصاً من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص، ورجال الأعمال من مختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي بين المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية العربية السورية.
وكان في استقبال الوفد وزير الاقتصاد والصناعة الدكتور محمد نضال الشعار، ووزير الطاقة المهندس محمد البشير، ووزير الاتصالات والتقنية عبدالسلام هيكل.
كما كان في استقبال الوفد سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى سورية فيصل المجفل، وأعضاء السفارة، وعدد من المسؤولين من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص.
وتعكس الزيارة حرص المملكة على دعم الاقتصاد السوري وتعزيز الروابط الاقتصادية، وذلك انطلاقاً من العلاقات التاريخية والأخوية التي تجمع الحكومتين والشعبين الشقيقين.

The Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, arrived in Damascus today, leading a Saudi delegation that includes more than 150 individuals from the government and private sectors, as well as businessmen from various economic sectors. This visit is part of efforts to enhance economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian Arab Republic.
The delegation was received by the Minister of Economy and Trade, Dr. Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar, the Minister of Energy, Engineer Mohammad Al-Bashir, and the Minister of Communications and Technology, Abdul Salam Haikal.
The delegation was also welcomed by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Syria, Faisal Al-Majfal, members of the embassy, and several officials from both the government and private sectors.
This visit reflects the Kingdom's commitment to supporting the Syrian economy and strengthening economic ties, stemming from the historical and fraternal relations that bind the two governments and their brotherly peoples.
