نفذت وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية ممثلة في الإدارة العامة للفروع 799 زيارة ميدانية على المنشآت الصناعية في عددٍ من مناطق المملكة خلال شهر يونيو الماضي، وذلك في إطار جولات الوزارة الدورية لمتابعة المصانع، والوقوف على مدى جاهزيتها، والتأكد من التزامها بتطبيق معايير الجودة والاشتراطات اللازمة.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي لوزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية جراح الجراح، أنَّ الزيارات الميدانية المُنفَّذة خلال الشهر الماضي شملت 249 زيارة للمصانع في منطقة الرياض، و203 زيارات في منطقة مكة المكرمة، و131 زيارة في المنطقة الشرقية، إضافة إلى 81 زيارة في منطقة المدينة المنورة، و42 زيارة في منطقة حائل، و30 زيارة في منطقة جازان، و19 زيارة في منطقة عسير، و13 زيارة في منطقة الحدود الشمالية، و12 زيارة في منطقة تبوك، و10 زيارات في منطقة القصيم، فيما نفذت 9 زيارات في منطقة نجران.
وأكَّد الجراح أن وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية عازمة على مواصلة زياراتها الميدانية للتأكد من تطبيق المنشآت الصناعية المعايير والاشتراطات اللازمة، ومتابعة التزام المصانع الوطنية بتوفير منتجات ذات جودة عالية، ومطابقة المعايير والمواصفات المعتمدة، والتحقق من سلامة المنتجات، وتصحيح أوضاع المصانع الواقعة خارج المدن الصناعية.
يُذكر أنَّ وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية تشترط على أي منشأة صناعية الحصول على رخصة سلامة صادرة عن الدفاع المدني، وتوفيرها وسائل السلامة تبعاً لطبيعة النشاط، إضافة إلى التأكد من توفر مخارج الطوارئ، ونظام للإطفاء، وتخزين المواد الخام والمنتجات بطريقة آمنة.

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, represented by the General Administration of Branches, conducted 799 field visits to industrial facilities in several regions of the Kingdom during the past month of June. This is part of the ministry's regular tours to monitor factories, assess their readiness, and ensure compliance with quality standards and necessary requirements.
The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Jarrah Al-Jarrah, stated that the field visits carried out last month included 249 visits to factories in the Riyadh region, 203 visits in the Makkah region, 131 visits in the Eastern region, in addition to 81 visits in the Madinah region, 42 visits in the Ha'il region, 30 visits in the Jazan region, 19 visits in the Asir region, 13 visits in the Northern Borders region, 12 visits in the Tabuk region, and 10 visits in the Qassim region, while 9 visits were conducted in the Najran region.
Al-Jarrah confirmed that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is determined to continue its field visits to ensure that industrial facilities comply with the necessary standards and requirements, and to monitor the commitment of national factories to provide high-quality products that meet approved standards and specifications, verify product safety, and rectify the conditions of factories located outside industrial cities.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources requires any industrial facility to obtain a safety license issued by the Civil Defense, provide safety measures according to the nature of the activity, ensure the availability of emergency exits, a fire extinguishing system, and store raw materials and products safely.
