استقبل 28 مسلخاً نظاميّاً يُشرف عليها فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة عسير، 18,223 أضحية خلال أيام عيد الأضحى المبارك لهذا العام، فيما رافق ذلك 209 جولات رقابية للمختصين بإدارة الأسواق والمسالخ بفرع الوزارة بالمنطقة، بينما تم إتلاف نحو 602 كغم، وتحرير 25 إنذاراً ومخالفة تجاه المخالفين لنظام أسواق النفع العام والمسالخ.
ويتابع فرع الوزارة في عسير، مراقبة مستوى جودة الخدمات المقدمة في تلك المواقع عبر 21 مراقباً متخصصاً بالصحة العامة، و9 أطباء بيطريين مكلفين طوال فترة العيد.

A total of 28 licensed slaughterhouses supervised by the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Asir region received 18,223 sacrificial animals during the days of Eid al-Adha this year. This was accompanied by 209 inspection rounds conducted by specialists from the Markets and Slaughterhouses Management at the ministry's branch in the region. Additionally, approximately 602 kg of meat was destroyed, and 25 warnings and violations were issued against those violating the Public Markets and Slaughterhouses regulations.
The ministry branch in Asir continues to monitor the quality of services provided at these locations through 21 public health inspectors and 9 veterinarians assigned throughout the Eid period.
