سجّل قطاع النقل والخدمات اللوجستية في منطقة المدينة المنورة نموًا متسارعًا خلال الربع الأول من عام 2025، مدفوعًا بارتفاع الطلب على الخدمات اللوجستية والنقل الذكي، وفق ما أظهره التقرير القطاعي للربع الأول 2025 الصادر عن غرفة التجارة والصناعة بالمدينة المنورة.
وبين التقرير أن مشاريع البنية التحتية في قطاع الطرق شهدت توسعاً لافتاً، حيث تم تنفيذ 12 مشروعاً رئيسياً بين عامي 2023 و2024، بإجمالي استثمارات تجاوزت 1.6 مليار ريال.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن مطار الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز الدولي استقبل نحو 10 ملايين مسافر خلال عام 2024، مما يعكس دوره الحيوي في دعم السياحة الدينية وتسهيل حركة الحجاج والمعتمرين بين المدينة المنورة ومكة المكرمة.
وفي سياق متصل، أسهمت مبادرات دعم سلاسل الإمداد والتخزين ومراكز الخدمات اللوجستية في تعزيز التجارة الإلكترونية في المنطقة، إلى جانب زيادة معدلات الاستثمار في وسائل النقل الذكية والحلول التقنية المرتبطة بالحج والعمرة.
ودعت غرفة المدينة المنورة المهتمين والجهات الاستثمارية إلى الاطلاع على التقرير القطاعي للربع الأول من عام 2025.
وكانت غرفة منطقة المدينة المنورة قد أصدرت تقريراً، في وقت سابق، عن التوزيع النسبي لمصانع المنطقة بحسب نشاطها، بين أن 34.9% من المصانع تعمل ضمن قطاع المعادن اللافلزية، ويعمل 15.1% من المصانع في إنتاج المواد الغذائية، مقابل 14.5% من المصانع تمارس نشاطها ضمن منتجات المطاط، إلى جانب 13.4% في مجال المواد الكيميائية، و8.6% بمنتجات المعادن، و6.2% في إنتاج المشروبات، و4.6% في إنتاج الفلزات القاعدية، فيما تعمل 2.7% من المصانع بالمدينة المنورة في إنتاج الورق ومنتجاته.
واستعرض التقرير نمو أنشطة الصناعات التحويلية خلال السنوات الخمس الماضية، بنسبة بلغت 45% إجمالاً، وبمعدّل نمو سنوي بلغ 9%، إذ أظهرت بيانات السجلات التجارية لأنشطة الصناعات التحويلية تزايد عدد الأنشطة صعوداً من 4744 سجلاً تجارياً في نهاية العام 2019، ليبلغ 6896 سجلاً تجارياً بنهاية العام 2024.

The transportation and logistics sector in the Medina region recorded accelerated growth during the first quarter of 2025, driven by increased demand for logistics services and smart transportation, according to the sector report for Q1 2025 issued by the Medina Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The report indicated that infrastructure projects in the road sector witnessed significant expansion, with 12 major projects implemented between 2023 and 2024, totaling investments exceeding 1.6 billion riyals.
The report noted that Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport received approximately 10 million passengers during 2024, reflecting its vital role in supporting religious tourism and facilitating the movement of pilgrims between Medina and Mecca.
In a related context, initiatives supporting supply chains, storage, and logistics service centers contributed to enhancing e-commerce in the region, alongside increasing investment rates in smart transportation and technological solutions related to Hajj and Umrah.
The Medina Chamber called on interested parties and investment entities to review the sector report for the first quarter of 2025.
Earlier, the Medina Chamber had issued a report on the relative distribution of factories in the region according to their activity, indicating that 34.9% of factories operate within the non-metallic minerals sector, 15.1% of factories are engaged in food production, while 14.5% of factories operate in rubber products, alongside 13.4% in chemicals, 8.6% in metal products, 6.2% in beverage production, and 4.6% in base metals production, while 2.7% of factories in Medina are involved in paper production and its products.
The report reviewed the growth of manufacturing activities over the past five years, with an overall increase of 45%, and an annual growth rate of 9%. Data from commercial records of manufacturing activities showed an increase in the number of activities rising from 4,744 commercial records at the end of 2019 to 6,896 commercial records by the end of 2024.
