أكد وزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط فيصل بن فاضل الإبراهيم، خلال مشاركته في الكلمة الافتتاحية لملتقى الأعمال السعودي-الإسباني، أن المملكة تشهد تحولاً اقتصادياً تاريخياً تقوده رؤية 2030، مشيراً إلى أن الأنشطة غير النفطية سجلت مستويات قياسية بلغت 54.8% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في عام 2024.
وأوضح أن الاستثمارات الإسبانية في المملكة تجاوزت 3 مليارات دولار خلال العقد الماضي، مع تواجد أكثر من 200 شركة إسبانية تنشط في مجالات البنية التحتية، والرعاية الصحية، والزراعة، والعقارات، والتقنية، منوهاً بالدور المحوري الذي يؤديه مجلس الأعمال السعودي-الإسباني في تعزيز التجارة الثنائية، في ظل التزام البلدين بإرساء بيئة استثمارية مستقرة وشفافة وغنية بالفرص.
وأشار إلى أن العلاقات الثنائية بين المملكة وإسبانيا تتجاوز الجانب الاقتصادي لتشمل التعاون الثقافي والرياضي، بما في ذلك استضافة المملكة كأس السوبر الإسباني، بما يسهم في تعميق الروابط بين الشعبين وترسيخ الاحترام المتبادل، داعياً الشركات والمبتكرين وروّاد الأعمال الإسبان إلى المشاركة في صياغة مستقبل مشترك ومزدهر بين البلدين.
During his participation in the opening speech of the Saudi-Spanish Business Forum, Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal bin Fadhel Al-Ibrahim confirmed that the Kingdom is witnessing a historic economic transformation driven by Vision 2030, noting that non-oil activities recorded a record level of 54.8% of the GDP in 2024.
He explained that Spanish investments in the Kingdom have exceeded 3 billion dollars over the past decade, with more than 200 Spanish companies active in the fields of infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, real estate, and technology, highlighting the pivotal role played by the Saudi-Spanish Business Council in enhancing bilateral trade, amid the commitment of both countries to establish a stable, transparent investment environment rich in opportunities.
He pointed out that the bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Spain go beyond the economic aspect to include cultural and sports cooperation, including the Kingdom hosting the Spanish Super Cup, which contributes to deepening the ties between the two peoples and establishing mutual respect, calling on Spanish companies, innovators, and entrepreneurs to participate in shaping a shared and prosperous future between the two countries.
