The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khuraif, met today in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Qatar, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, on the sidelines of the Qatar Economic Forum 2025.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and industrial integration between the two countries, exploring mutual investment opportunities, and emphasized the strength of the economic relations that bind the two brotherly countries, which form an important foundation for developing joint cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors, and enhancing the benefits from the qualitative investment opportunities available in the Kingdom and Qatar, in support of the development and economic diversification goals of both countries.

The two sides discussed the latest global practices in manufacturing processes, the pivotal role played by advanced manufacturing technologies, and the applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in enhancing the efficiency of the industrial sector and supporting sustainable industrial development in the region, reviewing the targets and achievements of the Future Factories Program and its role in supporting the Kingdom's industrial transformation journey, as well as exploring promising investment opportunities in the field of industrial innovation and advanced manufacturing.

The meeting highlighted the efforts made by the joint Saudi-Qatari technical teams to enhance bilateral cooperation and address any challenges facing industrial integration, contributing to expanding the horizons of cooperation to advance the industrial sector in the two brotherly countries.
