أتمت الهيئة العامة للأمن الغذائي إجراءات ترسية الدفعة الثالثة من القمح المستورد لهذا العام 2025، بكمية 621,000 طنٍ للتوريد من مناشئ (الاتحاد الأوروبي، وأمريكا الشمالية والجنوبية، وأستراليا، والبحر الأسود).
وأوضح محافظ الهيئة المهندس أحمد الفارس، اليوم، أن التعاقد على هذه الدفعة يأتي في إطار تعزيز المخزون الإستراتيجي من القمح، والحفاظ عليه عند المستويات الآمنة، وتلبية كافة احتياجات شركات المطاحن.
وبيّن أن فروع الشركة الوطنية لإمدادات الحبوب «سابل» ستقوم باستلام الكميات المتعاقد عليها للدفعة الثالثة والمجدول وصولها خلال الفترة (أغسطس - أكتوبر2025) بواقع 10 بواخر، تشمل 3 بواخر لميناء جده الإسلامي بكمية 180 ألف طنٍ، و5 بواخر لميناء ينبع التجاري بكمية 325 ألف طنٍ، وباخرتين لميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام بكمية 116 ألف طنٍ، حيث تنافست 18 شركة عالمية مؤهلة ومتخصصة في تجارة الحبوب على الكمية المطلوبة، وتمت الترسية على 5 شركات كانت عروضها الأقل سعرًا ومطابقة للمواصفات.

The Public Authority for Food Security has completed the procedures for awarding the third batch of imported wheat for the year 2025, with a quantity of 621,000 tons to be supplied from sources (the European Union, North and South America, Australia, and the Black Sea).
Engineer Ahmed Al-Faris, the Governor of the Authority, explained today that the contracting for this batch comes as part of enhancing the strategic stock of wheat, maintaining it at safe levels, and meeting all the needs of the flour mills.
He indicated that the branches of the National Grain Supply Company "SABL" will receive the contracted quantities for the third batch, scheduled to arrive during the period (August - October 2025) with a total of 10 vessels, including 3 vessels for Jeddah Islamic Port with a quantity of 180,000 tons, 5 vessels for Yanbu Commercial Port with a quantity of 325,000 tons, and 2 vessels for King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam with a quantity of 116,000 tons. Eighteen qualified global companies specializing in grain trade competed for the required quantity, and the award was given to 5 companies with the lowest-priced bids that met the specifications.
