غيّر «مورجان ستانلي» توقعاته لأسعار الفائدة البريطانية، متوقعاً رفع بنك إنجلترا الفائدة مرتين بمقدار 25 نقطة أساس في نوفمبر وفبراير، بعدما كان يتوقع عدم رفعها في المستقبل المنظور.
وتوقع محللو البنك في مذكرة بحثية وفقاً لوكالات إعلامية غربية، تباطؤ النمو مع نهاية العام وبداية العام القادم، لكنهم يرون أن المخاطر على المدى القريب متوازنة في ظل قوة النمو العالمي.
وأبقى بنك إنجلترا أسعار الفائدة دون تغيير الأسبوع الماضي، لكنه حذر من احتمال رفعها إذا طال أمد الصراع في الشرق الأوسط.
Morgan Stanley has changed its forecasts for British interest rates, expecting the Bank of England to raise rates twice by 25 basis points in November and February, after previously anticipating no increases in the foreseeable future.
Analysts at the bank predicted in a research note, according to Western media outlets, a slowdown in growth by the end of the year and the beginning of next year, but they see that the risks in the near term are balanced given the strength of global growth.
The Bank of England kept interest rates unchanged last week, but it warned of the possibility of raising them if the conflict in the Middle East persists.
