ارتفعت أسعار النفط خلال تعاملات اليوم (الثلاثاء)، بأكثر من 4% ليتجاوز 87 دولارًا، لتصل إلى أعلى مستوياتها في أربعة أسابيع، عقب إعادة فرض الولايات المتحدة حصارها البحري على إيران، بالتزامن مع تبادل الطرفين الهجمات في مضيق هرمز.
جاء ذلك بعدما سجل خام «برنت» ارتفاعًا بنسبة 9.6% في الجلسة السابقة، وهو أكبر مكسب يومي له منذ مايو 2020.
وتأتي هذه التطورات بعد أن نفذ الجيش الأمريكي ضربات جوية لليلة الثالثة على التوالي ضد أهداف إيرانية، تزامناً مع قرار الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بإعادة فرض الحصار على الملاحة الإيرانية واقتراح فرض رسوم بنسبة 20% لحماية مضيق هرمز.
حصار إيران
وأمس صعدت أسعار النفط بشكل حاد عند تسوية التعاملات، بأكثر من 9% وأغلقت على 83 دولاراً، مدعومة بإعادة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب فرض الحصار البحري على إيران، ما فاقم من المخاوف بشأن إمدادات الطاقة المارة عبر مضيق هرمز.
وأعلن مركز المعلومات البحرية المشتركة، وهو تحالف تقوده الولايات المتحدة، أن حصار المواني الإيرانية سيدخل حيز التنفيذ اليوم (الثلاثاء) في تمام الـ8:00 مساءً بتوقيت غرينتش، أي 11:00 مساءً بتوقيت مكة المكرمة.
Oil prices rose during today's (Tuesday) trading by more than 4% to exceed $87, reaching their highest levels in four weeks, following the re-imposition of the U.S. maritime blockade on Iran, coinciding with the exchange of attacks between the two sides in the Strait of Hormuz.
This came after Brent crude recorded a 9.6% increase in the previous session, marking its largest daily gain since May 2020.
These developments follow the U.S. military carrying out airstrikes for the third consecutive night against Iranian targets, alongside President Donald Trump's decision to re-impose the blockade on Iranian shipping and propose a 20% tariff to protect the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran's Blockade
Yesterday, oil prices sharply increased at the close of trading, rising by more than 9% to close at $83, supported by President Donald Trump's re-imposition of the maritime blockade on Iran, which heightened concerns about energy supplies passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
The Joint Maritime Information Center, a coalition led by the United States, announced that the blockade of Iranian ports would come into effect today (Tuesday) at 8:00 PM GMT, or 11:00 PM Mecca time.
