دعا وزير الصناعة والسياحة الإسباني جوردي هيريو، المستهلكين إلى الإسراع في حجز تذاكر الطيران، محذراً من ارتفاع محتمل في الأسعار نتيجة زيادة تكاليف الوقود بسبب التوترات في الشرق الأوسط.
وقال «هيريو» في تصريحات صحفية: «إن شركات الطيران لا تزال تعتمد على مخزونات وقود تم شراؤها سابقاً بأسعار أقل من الحالية، ما يعني أن تأثير ارتفاع أسعار النفط لم ينعكس بالكامل بعد على أسعار التذاكر».
زيادة الأسعار
وأشار الوزير إلى أن إسبانيا، التي استقبلت نحو 97 مليون سائح في 2025 بزيادة 3.5% على أساس سنوي، قد تحافظ على وتيرة نمو قريبة خلال العام الحالي، إلا أن ارتفاع تكاليف الوقود يهدّد بزيادة أسعار الرحلات الجوية، وهو ما قد يضغط على القطاع.
وأكد هيريو أن البلاد لديها مخزونات كافية من وقود الطائرات وقدرات إنتاجية أعلى مقارنة ببعض الدول الأوروبية، إلا أنه حذّر من أن أي اضطرابات اقتصادية في الدول المصدرة للسياح قد تنعكس سلباً على البلاد.
The Spanish Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Huerio, urged consumers to hurry in booking flight tickets, warning of a potential rise in prices due to increased fuel costs resulting from tensions in the Middle East.
Huerio stated in press remarks: “Airlines are still relying on fuel stocks purchased earlier at lower prices than the current ones, which means that the impact of rising oil prices has not yet fully reflected on ticket prices.”
Price Increase
The minister pointed out that Spain, which welcomed about 97 million tourists in 2025, an increase of 3.5% year-on-year, may maintain a similar growth rate during the current year. However, rising fuel costs threaten to increase flight prices, which could put pressure on the sector.
Huerio confirmed that the country has sufficient stocks of aviation fuel and higher production capacities compared to some European countries, but he warned that any economic disruptions in tourist-exporting countries could negatively impact the country.
