اعتمدت كوريا الجنوبية عدداً من الإجراءات الطارئة؛ للحد من تأثير ارتفاع أسعار الوقود والطاقة بسبب الحرب الدائرة بالشرق الأوسط، إذ حثت «وزارة الطاقة» السكان على ترشيد الاستهلاك، بما في ذلك تقليل مدة الاستحمام وشحن الهواتف المحمولة خلال ساعات النهار، إضافة إلى تحديد سقف لأسعار الوقود، وذلك للمرة الأولى منذ عام 1997.
جاء ذلك على خلفية الاضطراب الذي يشهده العالم في إمدادات الطاقة، ما انعكس سلباً على العديد من الدول، ومنها كوريا الجنوبية، التي تعتمد على نفط الشرق الأوسط لتأمين نحو 70% من وارداتها.
إغلاق أسواق بباكستان
وعلى غرار كوريا الجنوبية، أصدرت حكومتا إقليمي خيبر بختونخوا وبلوشستان في باكستان أوامرهما بإغلاق الأسواق وقاعات الأفراح والمطاعم مبكراً ضمن إجراءات ترشيد استخدام الطاقة.
وأصدر رئيس وزراء إقليم خيبر بختونخوا أوامره بإغلاق الأسواق ومراكز التسوق والمنشآت التجارية الساعة التاسعة مساءً بالتوقيت المحلي.
كما أصدرت الحكومة أوامرها بإغلاق المطاعم والمقاهي بحلول الساعة العاشرة، مع ذلك سوف تستمر خدمات التوصيل إلى المنازل.
كما أعلن إقليم بلوشستان فرض إجراءات مماثلة، حيث قالت وزارة الداخلية إن الخطة تعقب صدور قرارات بشأن دعم الوقود وترشيد الطاقة.
ووفقاً لقرارات الحكومة بالإقليم، سيتم إغلاق الأسواق والمراكز التجارية بحلول الساعة الثامنة مساءً، كما ستغلق قاعات الأفراح ومراكز عقد الفعاليات بحلول الساعة العاشرة.
South Korea has adopted a number of emergency measures to mitigate the impact of rising fuel and energy prices due to the ongoing war in the Middle East. The "Ministry of Energy" urged residents to conserve energy, including reducing shower times and charging mobile phones during daylight hours, in addition to setting a cap on fuel prices for the first time since 1997.
This comes against the backdrop of the global disruption in energy supplies, which has negatively affected many countries, including South Korea, which relies on Middle Eastern oil to secure about 70% of its imports.
Closure of Markets in Pakistan
Similar to South Korea, the governments of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces in Pakistan have issued orders to close markets, wedding halls, and restaurants early as part of energy conservation measures.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ordered the closure of markets, shopping centers, and commercial establishments by 9 PM local time.
The government also ordered the closure of restaurants and cafes by 10 PM, although home delivery services will continue.
Balochistan province announced similar measures, with the Interior Ministry stating that the plan follows decisions regarding fuel support and energy conservation.
According to the provincial government's decisions, markets and commercial centers will close by 8 PM, and wedding halls and event venues will close by 10 PM.
