أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، اليوم، أن فنزويلا بدأت تجني أموالاً طائلة لم تشهدها منذ سنوات.
وقال ترمب: «النفط بدأ يتدفق وسيساعد الشعب الفنزويلي بشكل كبير، وعلاقتنا مع رئيسة فنزويلا المؤقتة جيدة للغاية، والعلاقات مع فنزويلا حالياً استثنائية».
سياسة الطاقة
وكان وزير الطاقة الأمريكي كريس رايت قد عقد اجتماعات مع كبار المسؤولين والمديرين التنفيذيين في فنزويلا أمس، في إطار زيارة تركز على سياسة الطاقة.
وأضاف رايت: «إن الولايات المتحدة مستعدة للمساعدة في تعزيز إنتاج النفط والغاز والطاقة في البلاد». وذلك عقب محادثات مع القائمة بأعمال الرئيس ووزيرة النفط ديلسي رودريجيز بالقصر الرئاسي في ميرافلوريس.
زيادة كبيرة
وأضاف رايت خلال مؤتمر صحفي نقله التلفزيون بعد الاجتماع: «يمكننا هذا العام تحقيق زيادة كبيرة في إنتاج فنزويلا من النفط والغاز الطبيعي والكهرباء».
يذكر أن زيارة الوزير رايت هي الأبرز لمسؤولين أمريكيين بعد ما يقرب من 3 عقود، مع تعهد ببدء عهد جديد من الشراكة الاقتصادية.

Trump said, "Oil is beginning to flow and will greatly help the Venezuelan people, and our relationship with the interim President of Venezuela is very good, and relations with Venezuela are currently exceptional."
Energy Policy
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright held meetings with senior officials and executives in Venezuela yesterday, as part of a visit focused on energy policy.
Wright added, "The United States is ready to help boost oil, gas, and energy production in the country." This followed talks with the acting President and Minister of Oil Delcy Rodríguez at the presidential palace in Miraflores.
Significant Increase
Wright stated during a press conference broadcast on television after the meeting, "We can achieve a significant increase in Venezuela's production of oil, natural gas, and electricity this year."
It is noteworthy that Secretary Wright's visit is the most significant by U.S. officials in nearly three decades, with a commitment to begin a new era of economic partnership.
