عدلت وكالة الطاقة الدولية توقعاتها لنمو الطلب العالمي على النفط للعام الحالي بالخفض إلى 850 ألف برميل يوميًا، من تقديرها السابق البالغ 930 ألف برميل يوميًا، وسط حالة عدم اليقين الاقتصادي، وتأثير ارتفاع أسعار الخام على الاستهلاك، وذلك بعد نمو الطلب العالمي على النفط بمقدار 770 ألف برميل يوميًا في العام الماضي.
ومن المتوقع أن تواصل اقتصادات الدول غير الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية الاستحواذ على كامل الزيادة المقدرة.
تراجع المعروض
وأعلنت الوكالة في تقريرها الشهري الصادر، اليوم، تراجع المعروض العالمي من النفط بمقدار 1.2 مليون برميل يوميًا في يناير ليصل إلى 106.6 مليون برميل يوميًا، مع تأثير الطقس الشتوي القاسي على عمليات الإنتاج في أمريكا الشمالية، إلى جانب تقلص تدفقات الخام الكازاخستاني والروسي والفنزويلي.
وتتوقع الوكالة حاليًا ارتفاع الإنتاج العالمي من النفط بمقدار 2.4 مليون برميل يوميًا هذا العام ليصل إلى 108.6 مليون برميل يوميًا.
The International Energy Agency has revised its forecast for global oil demand growth for the current year down to 850,000 barrels per day, from its previous estimate of 930,000 barrels per day, amid economic uncertainty and the impact of rising crude prices on consumption, following a global oil demand growth of 770,000 barrels per day last year.
It is expected that the economies of non-OECD countries will capture the entire estimated increase.
Supply Decline
The agency announced in its monthly report released today that global oil supply declined by 1.2 million barrels per day in January to reach 106.6 million barrels per day, influenced by severe winter weather affecting production operations in North America, alongside reduced flows of Kazakh, Russian, and Venezuelan crude.
The agency currently expects global oil production to rise by 2.4 million barrels per day this year to reach 108.6 million barrels per day.
