على رغم التباطؤ في تنفيذ المشاريع العملاقة في السعودية خلال العام 2024؛ وانخفاض الصفقات في دول الخليج بنحو الثلث إلى 213 مليار دولار، مقارنة بالعام 2024، وانخفاضها في المملكة من 164 مليار دولار خلال 2024 إلى 84.5 مليار دولار، بحسب مجلة «ميد» الاقتصادية البريطانية؛ إلا أن موقع «سيمافور» الإخباري الأمريكي أكد أنه على رغم ذلك الانخفاض فإن الخليج يشهد ازدهاراً حقيقياً في مشاريع التشييد، من الكويت إلى مكة المكرمة. وتم تسجيل ثالث أعلى ارتفاع سنوي في الإنفاق على البناء في دول الخليج.
وتوقعت مجلة «ميد»، المتخصصة في الشؤون الاقتصادية بدول الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، أن يصل حجم صفقات التشييد خلال الأشهر القادمة إلى نحو 400 مليار دولار.
Despite the slowdown in the execution of mega projects in Saudi Arabia during the year 2024; and the decline in deals in the Gulf countries by about a third to $213 billion, compared to the year 2024, and its drop in the Kingdom from $164 billion during 2024 to $84.5 billion, according to the British economic magazine "MEED"; the American news site "Semafor" confirmed that despite this decline, the Gulf is witnessing a real boom in construction projects, from Kuwait to Mecca. The third highest annual increase in construction spending in the Gulf countries has been recorded.
The magazine "MEED," which specializes in economic affairs in the Middle East and North Africa, predicted that the volume of construction deals in the coming months would reach about $400 billion.
