أعلنت الجمعية الألمانية للمستشفيات، استناداً إلى عينة من استطلاع للرأي، أن 66% من المستشفيات في ألمانيا سجلت خسائر خلال عام 2024. يأتي ذلك في الوقت الذي تحذر فيه المستشفيات في ألمانيا من استمرار تفاقم الأزمات المالية التي تواجهها.

وقال رئيس جمعية المستشفيات الألمانية جيراد جاس: «عندما تسجل ثلثا المستشفيات خسائر، فإن ذلك يهدد وجود هذه المنشآت ويقيد قدراتها على القيام بالاستثمارات الضرورية في التحديث والرقمنة».
وأضاف أن إجراءات التقشف السياسية الحالية لم تؤخذ في الحسبان بعد، مؤكداً أن على الحكومة الاتحادية أن ترسخ أخيراً قاعدة تمويل مستقرة وموثوقة.
حزمة تقشفية
وشارك في الاستطلاع، الذي أجراه المعهد الألماني لشؤون المستشفيات بين مايو ويوليو 2025، نحو 376 مستشفى من أصل 1,700 مستشفى في ألمانيا.
وكان البرلمان والمجلس الاتحادي أقرا قبيل عيد الميلاد حزمة تقشفية لتثبيت اشتراكات التأمين الصحي، تنص على فرض قيود إنفاق على المستشفيات بقيمة 1.8 مليار يورو في عام 2026، ومع ذلك، ووفقاً لوزارة الصحة، من المتوقع أن ترتفع النفقات بنحو 8 مليارات يورو لتصل إلى 120 مليار يورو.

The German Hospital Association announced, based on a sample from a public opinion survey, that 66% of hospitals in Germany recorded losses during the year 2024. This comes at a time when hospitals in Germany are warning about the continued worsening of the financial crises they are facing.
Restricting Capabilities
The President of the German Hospital Association, Gerald Gass, said: “When two-thirds of hospitals report losses, it threatens the existence of these facilities and restricts their ability to make necessary investments in modernization and digitization.”
He added that the current political austerity measures have not yet been taken into account, emphasizing that the federal government must finally establish a stable and reliable funding base.
Austerity Package
The survey, conducted by the German Institute for Hospital Affairs between May and July 2025, included about 376 hospitals out of 1,700 hospitals in Germany.
Prior to Christmas, the parliament and the Federal Council approved an austerity package to stabilize health insurance contributions, which imposes spending restrictions on hospitals amounting to 1.8 billion euros in 2026. However, according to the Ministry of Health, expenses are expected to rise by about 8 billion euros to reach 120 billion euros.
In 2023, this percentage was 61%, and in the current year, which is nearing its end, this percentage is expected to reach 70% of hospitals in Germany.
