يرأس وزير الاستثمار المهندس خالد الفالح وفدًا رفيع المستوى يضم عددًا من المسؤولين الحكوميين وكبار رجال الأعمال خلال زيارة رسمية إلى كندا يومي 12و 13 جمادى الأول 1447هـ، في إطار تعزيز التعاون الاستثماري بين المملكة وكندا؛ لبحث فرص الشراكة في القطاعات الاستثمارية النوعية، بما يسهم في تنويع الاقتصاد الوطني، وفق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
ويتضمن برنامج الزيارة عقد اجتماعي الطاولة المستديرة السعودي الكندي، لقطاعي التعدين، وصناعة السيارات، إضافة إلى اجتماعات مجلس الأعمال السعودي الكندي، وعددٍ من اللقاءات الثنائية بين ممثلي القطاعين الحكومي والخاص في البلدين.
شراكات دولية
وتشمل الزيارة سلسلة من الاجتماعات الرسمية التي سيعقدها الوزير في كلٍّ من العاصمة أوتاوا ومدينة تورنتو، مع عددٍ من الوزراء والمسؤولين الكنديين، إلى جانب لقاءات مع عددٍ من قيادات كبرى الشركات الكندية، إضافة إلى حضوره والوفد المرافق حفل الاستقبال الرسمي في المركز الوطني للفنون بمدينة تورنتو.
ويضم الوفد السعودي المشارك في الزيارة ممثلين من منظومة الاستثمار وعددٍ من الجهات الحكومية ذات العلاقة، إلى جانب نخبة من رجال الأعمال وقادة القطاع الخاص السعودي، وممثلين من اتحاد الغرف التجارية السعودية.
وتجسد هذه الزيارة حرص المملكة على تعزيز الشراكات الدولية ودعم الجهود الرامية إلى جذب الاستثمارات النوعية في القطاعات غير النفطية، بما يعزز مكانة المملكة بصفتها مركزًا استثماريًا عالميًا رائدًا.
The Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, heads a high-level delegation that includes several government officials and prominent businessmen during an official visit to Canada on the 12th and 13th of Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH, as part of efforts to enhance investment cooperation between the Kingdom and Canada; to discuss partnership opportunities in qualitative investment sectors, contributing to the diversification of the national economy, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The visit program includes holding Saudi-Canadian roundtable meetings for the mining and automotive sectors, in addition to meetings of the Saudi-Canadian Business Council, and several bilateral meetings between representatives of the public and private sectors in both countries.
International Partnerships
The visit includes a series of official meetings that the minister will hold in both the capital, Ottawa, and the city of Toronto, with several Canadian ministers and officials, as well as meetings with leaders of major Canadian companies, in addition to his attendance and the accompanying delegation at the official reception at the National Arts Centre in Toronto.
The Saudi delegation participating in the visit includes representatives from the investment ecosystem and several relevant government entities, along with a selection of businessmen and leaders of the Saudi private sector, and representatives from the Saudi Chambers of Commerce Federation.
This visit embodies the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing international partnerships and supporting efforts to attract quality investments in non-oil sectors, thereby strengthening the Kingdom's position as a leading global investment hub.
