كشف الرئيس التنفيذي بالإنابة لمطار الملك سلمان الدولي ماركو ميخيا أن المطار يستهدف 225 مليون مسافر كطاقة استيعابية.
وأضاف في جلسة على هامش مبادرة مستقبل الاستثمار في الرياض حول كيفية إدارة أضخم المشاريع في العالم، أن الخطة الحالية للمطار مجهزة للاستعداد لـ50 سنة قادمة.
وأوضح أنه من المخطط الاعتماد على التقنية للتعرف على العميل في المطار الجديد، ونعمل على رقمنة كل شيء بما يساهم في قياس الأداء وتطويع حاجات العميل، مستطردا أن التقنية على سبيل المثال تخدم في تحسين تجربة المسافر، إذ يمكن تيسير طرق سيارات الأجرة وإرسال تحذيرات وتنبيهات للمسافرين. وشدد على أهمية وجود اللمسة البشرية، وأن تتضافر في جهود الاعتماد على التقنية الذكية.
The acting CEO of King Salman International Airport, Marco Mejia, revealed that the airport aims for a capacity of 225 million passengers.
He added in a session on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh about how to manage the largest projects in the world that the current plan for the airport is equipped to prepare for the next 50 years.
He explained that it is planned to rely on technology to identify customers at the new airport, and we are working on digitizing everything to help measure performance and tailor customer needs, adding that technology, for example, helps improve the travel experience, as it can facilitate taxi routes and send alerts and notifications to travelers. He emphasized the importance of having a human touch and that efforts should be combined to rely on smart technology.
