شهدت أسعار الذهب في السوق المصرية تراجعاً ملحوظاً خلال تعاملات الأسبوع الماضي، بعد موجة من الصعود المتواصل استمرت لأسابيع متتالية، مدفوعة بعمليات بيع واسعة لجني الأرباح وتصحيح الأسعار بعد الارتفاعات التاريخية الأخيرة، وفقاً لبيانات شعبة الذهب والمعادن الثمينة باتحاد الصناعات المصرية.
وفي صباح تعاملات اليوم الأحد، بلغ سعر غرام الذهب عيار 24 نحو 6,331 جنيهاً، فيما سجل الغرام عيار 21 وهو الأكثر تداولاً في السوق المصرية مستوى 5,550 جنيهاً، وبلغ سعر الغرام عيار 18 نحو 4,757 جنيهاً، بينما سجل سعر الجنيه الذهب 44.4 ألف جنيه.
مستوى تاريخي
وقال رئيس شعبة الذهب والمعادن الثمينة إيهاب واصف: «إن سعر غرام الذهب عيار 21 انخفض بنسبة 3.57% خلال تعاملات الأسبوع الماضي ليغلق تعاملات الأسبوع عند مستوى 5,540 جنيهاً، مقارنة مع 5,745 جنيهاً عند بداية الأسبوع، بعدما سجل أعلى مستوى تاريخي له عند 5,905 جنيهات للغرام».
وجاء التراجع نتيجة عمليات البيع من قبل المستثمرين والمستهلكين بعد المكاسب الكبيرة التي حققها المعدن الأصفر خلال الفترة الماضية، إلى جانب تأثر السوق المحلية بالهبوط الحاد الذي شهدته أونصة الذهب عالمياً.
تقلبات سعرية
وأشار «واصف» إلى أن الذهب العالمي أنهى تعاملات الأسبوع الماضي على انخفاض بعد سلسلة صعود استمرت 9 أسابيع متتالية، إذ سجلت الأوقية في بداية تعاملات الأسبوع مستوى تاريخياً عند 4,381 دولاراً قبل أن تتراجع بقوة لتصل إلى مستوى الدعم عند 4,000 دولار، ثم ارتدت مجدداً لتغلق فوق مستوى 4,100 دولار للأوقية، مع توقعات باستمرار التقلبات السعرية خلال الفترة القادمة.
وساهم استقرار سعر صرف الدولار الأمريكي مقابل الجنيه المصري في تقليل حدة التذبذب في أسعار الذهب بالسوق المصرية، إذ يظل سعر الصرف مستقراً في ظل أوضاع مالية ونقدية متوازنة واحتياطي قوي من العملات الأجنبية.
The prices of gold in the Egyptian market witnessed a noticeable decline during the trading sessions of last week, following a wave of continuous rises that lasted for consecutive weeks, driven by extensive selling operations to take profits and correct prices after recent historical increases, according to data from the Gold and Precious Metals Division of the Egyptian Federation of Industries.
On Sunday morning, the price of 24-carat gold reached about 6,331 Egyptian pounds, while the price of 21-carat gold, which is the most traded in the Egyptian market, recorded 5,550 Egyptian pounds, and the price of 18-carat gold was about 4,757 Egyptian pounds, while the price of the gold pound reached 44,400 Egyptian pounds.
Historical Level
Head of the Gold and Precious Metals Division, Ihab Wasef, stated: "The price of 21-carat gold decreased by 3.57% during last week's trading, closing the week at 5,540 Egyptian pounds, compared to 5,745 Egyptian pounds at the beginning of the week, after reaching its highest historical level at 5,905 Egyptian pounds per gram."
The decline came as a result of selling operations by investors and consumers after the significant gains achieved by the yellow metal during the past period, in addition to the impact of the sharp drop in the global gold ounce on the local market.
Price Fluctuations
Wasef pointed out that global gold ended last week's trading with a decline after a series of rises that lasted for 9 consecutive weeks, as the ounce recorded a historical level of 4,381 dollars at the beginning of the week before sharply declining to the support level of 4,000 dollars, then rebounding again to close above 4,100 dollars per ounce, with expectations of continued price fluctuations in the coming period.
The stability of the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Egyptian pound contributed to reducing the intensity of fluctuations in gold prices in the Egyptian market, as the exchange rate remains stable amid balanced financial and monetary conditions and a strong reserve of foreign currencies.
