وافقت هيئة التأمين على تعيين السعودية دلال برهان رئيساً تنفيذياً لإحدى شركات التأمين اعتباراً من اليوم (الخميس) 23 أكتوبر، بعد صدور قرار مجلس إدارة الشركة بتعيينها في المنصب بتاريخ 24 سبتمبر، لتكون أول سعودية تتولى منصب الرئيس التنفيذي في شركات التأمين بالمملكة العربية السعودية..
وتمتلك «برهان» خبرة مهنية تمتد لأكثر من (16) عاماً في قطاع التأمين، إلى جانب مؤهلات أكاديمية ومهنية متميزة. فهي حاصلة على شهادة الزمالة في التأمين من معهد التأمين القانوني في لندن (ACII)، ودرجة البكالوريوس في المحاسبة من جامعة الملك سعود، بالإضافة إلى عدد من الشهادات المهنية المتخصصة في مجالي التأمين وإدارة المخاطر.
كما شاركت «دلال» في عدد من اللجان المتخصصة، حيث كانت عضوة في لجان منبثقة عن هيئة التأمين، إضافة إلى عضويتها في اللجنة المالية التابعة للغرفة التجارية بالشرقية، ما يعكس دورها البارز في مجال التأمين.
وشغلت «دلال» منذ انضمامها للشركة منصب الرئيس التنفيذي للشؤون الفنية، قبل أن يتم تكليفها بمهام الرئيس التنفيذي لمدة ستة أشهر، تكللت لاحقًا بتعيينها رسميًا في المنصب، كما تقلدت مناصب قيادية في شركات تأمين في المملكة العربية السعودية.
The Insurance Authority approved the appointment of Saudi Dalal Burhan as the Chief Executive Officer of one of the insurance companies starting today (Thursday), October 23, following the decision of the company's Board of Directors to appoint her to the position on September 24, making her the first Saudi woman to hold the position of CEO in insurance companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Burhan has over 16 years of professional experience in the insurance sector, along with distinguished academic and professional qualifications. She holds a Fellowship in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute in London (ACII) and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from King Saud University, in addition to several specialized professional certifications in the fields of insurance and risk management.
Dalal has also participated in several specialized committees, having been a member of committees arising from the Insurance Authority, in addition to her membership in the financial committee of the Eastern Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her prominent role in the field of insurance.
Since joining the company, Dalal has held the position of Chief Executive Officer for Technical Affairs, before being tasked with the responsibilities of the CEO for six months, which later culminated in her official appointment to the position. She has also held leadership positions in insurance companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
