تراجعت أسعار النفط عند تسوية تعاملاته اليوم (الخميس)، في أداء سلبي لليوم الرابع على التوالي وسط مخاوف من وفرة المعروض قبل اجتماع تحالف «أوبك بلس» المرتقب خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع.
وانخفضت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت القياسي تسليم ديسمبر بنسبة 1.9% أو 1.24 دولار إلى 64.11 دولار للبرميل.
وتراجعت العقود الآجلة لخام نايمكس الأمريكي تسليم نوفمبر بنسبة 2.10% أو ما يعادل 1.30 دولار إلى 60.48 دولار للبرميل.
جاء ذلك نتيجة تقارير متداولة رجحت موافقة تحالف «أوبك بلس» على التخلي عن 500 ألف برميل يومياً من تخفيضات الإنتاج الطوعية اعتباراً من نوفمبر القادم، رغم أن منظمة «أوبك» نفت ذلك رسمياً.

Oil prices fell at the close of trading today (Thursday), marking a negative performance for the fourth consecutive day amid concerns over supply surplus ahead of the anticipated "OPEC Plus" alliance meeting over the weekend.
Brent crude futures for December delivery dropped by 1.9% or $1.24 to $64.11 per barrel.
Meanwhile, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures for November delivery declined by 2.10% or $1.30 to $60.48 per barrel.
This came in light of circulating reports suggesting that the "OPEC Plus" alliance may agree to abandon 500,000 barrels per day of voluntary production cuts starting from next November, although the "OPEC" organization officially denied this.
