تراجعت قيمة العملة الروسية أمام نظيرتها الأمريكية خلال تعاملات الأربعاء، بعدما أعلنت بولندا أن دفاعاتها الجوية أسقطت مسيّرات روسية اخترقت مجالها الجوي أثناء هجوم على غرب أوكرانيا.
وانخفض الروبل أمام الدولار بنسبة 1.4% إلى 84.74 روبل، بعدما لامس 85.235 روبل، وهو أضعف مستوى للعملة الروسية أمام نظيرتها الأمريكية منذ 5 أشهر.
وفي بورصة موسكو، تراجع الروبل بنسبة 1.2% ليصل إلى 11.91 مقابل اليوان، وهو العملة الأجنبية الأكثر تداولًا في روسيا، بحسب وكالات إعلامية غربية.
وخسر الروبل نحو 5% من قيمته أمام الدولار منذ بداية الأسبوع، في ظل توقعات بخفض سعر الفائدة الرئيسي من قبل البنك المركزي الروسي في 12 سبتمبر، وزيادة الطلب على الواردات، إضافة إلى تجدد المخاوف من عقوبات غربية جديدة.

The value of the Russian currency declined against its American counterpart during trading on Wednesday, after Poland announced that its air defenses shot down Russian drones that had breached its airspace during an attack on western Ukraine.
The ruble fell against the dollar by 1.4% to 84.74 rubles, after touching 85.235 rubles, which is the weakest level for the Russian currency against the American one in 5 months.
In the Moscow Stock Exchange, the ruble decreased by 1.2% to 11.91 against the yuan, which is the most traded foreign currency in Russia, according to Western media agencies.
The ruble has lost about 5% of its value against the dollar since the beginning of the week, amid expectations of a cut in the key interest rate by the Russian central bank on September 12, an increase in demand for imports, and renewed concerns about new Western sanctions.
