الذهب يقترب من أعلى مستوى في شهر

Gold prices today (Friday) approached their highest levels in over a month, as a general decline in the dollar and increased expectations for the Federal Reserve (the U.S. central bank) to cut interest rates in September boosted demand for the precious metal.

Gold stabilized in spot transactions at $3,413.80 per ounce, after reaching its highest level since July 23 yesterday (Thursday), and gold has increased by 3.6% since the beginning of the month so far.

U.S. gold futures for December delivery also stabilized at $3,473.80.

The dollar fell 0.4% overnight and is heading for a monthly loss, making gold priced in it less expensive for holders of other currencies.
