كتب الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، أمس (الأربعاء)، منشوراً على منصته «تروث سوشيال»، أنه تم إبرام اتفاق مع الصين بعد يومين من المحادثات التجارية في لندن، وبانتظار موافقته مع الرئيس الصيني شي.
وأوضح ترمب أن الصين ستورد المغناطيسات وأي معادن أرضية نادرة لأكبر اقتصاد في العالم، وستزود أمريكا الصين بما تم الاتفاق عليه، بما في ذلك الاتفاق بشأن الطلاب الصينيين الذين يدرسون في الكليات والجامعات الأمريكية.
وأضاف: «سنحصل على تعريفات جمركية 55%، بينما تحصل الصين على 10%، علاقتنا ممتازة».
يأتي ذلك عقب محادثات استمرت لمدة يومين في لندن، لإطار عمل لتنفيذ التوافق الذي تم التوصل إليه خلال المحادثات التي عقدت في سويسرا الشهر الماضي.

President Donald Trump wrote yesterday (Wednesday) on his platform "Truth Social" that an agreement has been reached with China after two days of trade talks in London, pending his approval with Chinese President Xi.
Trump clarified that China will supply magnets and any rare earth metals to the world's largest economy, and the U.S. will provide China with what has been agreed upon, including the agreement regarding Chinese students studying in American colleges and universities.
He added, "We will get a 55% tariff, while China gets 10%, our relationship is excellent."
This comes following two days of talks in London to establish a framework for implementing the agreement reached during the discussions held in Switzerland last month.
