الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين تختتم سلسلة لقاءات المهندسين في المملكة

The Saudi Engineers Association concluded a series of open meetings held during May 2025 in Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah, attended by the Chairman of the Association, Engineer Ahmed bin Tarees Al-Sheikh, the Secretary-General Abdul Mohsen bin Dhawi Al-Majnouni, and several members of the Board of Directors, alongside active participation from engineers of various specialties and sectors.

These meetings were organized as part of the Association's commitment to enhancing effective communication with its members, addressing their needs and aspirations, which contributes to the development of the engineering work system in the Kingdom and improving the efficiency of professional practices, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The meetings witnessed notable interaction from participants, during which direct communication channels were opened between engineers and the leadership of the Association. Suggestions and observations were listened to, and inquiries regarding various professional and organizational aspects were addressed.

The meetings included a comprehensive introductory presentation about the role of the Association and its areas of work, an overview of the Association's strategy for the upcoming period, in addition to highlighting its efforts in developing the professional classification system and engineering tests, and introducing updates on the professional practice system and related regulatory frameworks.

The Chairman emphasized during the meetings that protecting the profession represents the cornerstone of all the Association's efforts, pointing out that governance concerns every detail of engineering work, from policy formulation to daily practices, enhancing efficiency and establishing values of integrity within the system by focusing its efforts on developing the engineering work environment to ensure quality outcomes that keep pace with progress and meet the aspirations of the upcoming phase. He affirmed that excellence cannot be achieved without an active initiative from all members to create a future that aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

For his part, the Secretary-General pointed out the importance of these meetings as interactive platforms that enhance the proximity of the Association to its members and contribute to the development of programs and services based on the actual needs of the field, confirming the Association's commitment to holding such meetings in the future across various regions of the Kingdom.

This series of meetings is part of the Association's ongoing efforts to build bridges of trust and interaction with members, achieving integration between the Association's regulatory role and engineers as key partners in advancing the engineering sector in the Kingdom.
