عقد مجلس الأعمال السعودي - العُماني، اليوم، اجتماعه بالعاصمة العُمانية مسقط، برئاسة محافظ الهيئة السعودية للمواصفات والمقاييس والجودة السعودية الدكتور سعد بن عثمان القصبي، ووزير التجارة والصناعة وترويج الاستثمار بسلطنة عُمان قيس بن محمد اليوسف، وحضور رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة تجارة وصناعة عُمان فيصل بن عبدالله الرواس، ورئيس الجانب السعودي في المجلس عبدالعزيز العلي، ورئيس الجانب العُماني علي الكلباني، ومشاركة واسعة من المستثمرين السعوديين والعمانيين.
تعزيز التكامل
واستعرض الاجتماع فرص التعاون بين البلدين الشقيقين، ومقترح إنشاء شراكات إستراتيجية سعودية - عُمانية في عددٍ من القطاعات الاقتصادية الواعدة، بما يسهم في تنمية الاستثمارات المشتركة، وتعزيز التكامل في سلاسل التوريد، ودعم جهود القطاع الخاص لتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 ورؤية عُمان 2040.
يذكر أن الاجتماع يأتي على هامش معرض الامتياز التجاري العُماني السعودي الذي تنظمه غرفة تجارة وصناعة عُمان بالتعاون مع اتحاد الغرف السعودية.
The Saudi-Omani Business Council held its meeting today in the Omani capital, Muscat, chaired by the Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi, and the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yusuf, with the attendance of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Rawas, the Chairman of the Saudi side of the council, Abdulaziz Al-Ali, the Chairman of the Omani side, Ali Al-Kalbani, and broad participation from Saudi and Omani investors.
Enhancing Integration
The meeting reviewed opportunities for cooperation between the two brotherly countries and the proposal to establish Saudi-Omani strategic partnerships in several promising economic sectors, contributing to the development of joint investments, enhancing integration in supply chains, and supporting the private sector's efforts to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040.
It is noteworthy that the meeting comes on the sidelines of the Omani-Saudi Franchise Exhibition organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Saudi Chambers Federation.
