تعتزم مصر سداد 397 مليون دولار لصندوق النقد الدولي الشهر الجاري، بحسب بيانات الموقع الرسمي للصندوق، فيما يتعين على البلاد سداد 1.07 مليار دولار في الربع الأخير من العام الحالي.
وفي سياق آخر، قالت متحدثة صندوق النقد الدولي جولي كوزاك: «إن بعثة الصندوق ستتوجه إلى القاهرة الخريف الحالي لإتمام المراجعتين الخامسة والسادسة من برنامج «تسهيل الصندوق الممدّد» الخاص بمصر».
وأوضحت كوزاك أن المراجعة الأولى لبرنامج صندوق الصمود والاستدامة ستُجرى بالتزامن مع المراجعة السادسة لبرنامج التسهيل الممدد بعد دمجهما، مؤكدة أن صرف أي دفعات من برنامج الصلابة والاستدامة سيكون مشروطاً بتنفيذ الإجراءات الإصلاحية المتفق عليها.
صرف الدفعات
وبيّنت أن تقرير خبراء الصندوق المرافق للاتفاق يوضح جدول صرف الدفعات، مشيرة إلى أن المراجعة الأولى للبرنامج ستتضمن تقييم تنفيذ إصلاحين محددين، على أن تبلغ قيمة كل دفعة مرتبطة بهذين الإصلاحين نحو 137 مليون دولار.
وأشارت إلى أن الصندوق يرى أن استقرار الاقتصاد الكلي في مصر يهيئ المجال لتنفيذ إصلاحات أعمق تعزز النمو وخلق وظائف عالية الجودة، وتدعم قدرة الاقتصاد على مواجهة الصدمات وتقليص مواطن الضعف.
Egypt intends to pay $397 million to the International Monetary Fund this month, according to data from the official website of the Fund, while the country is required to pay $1.07 billion in the last quarter of the current year.
In another context, IMF spokesperson Julie Kozak stated: "The Fund's mission will head to Cairo this fall to complete the fifth and sixth reviews of the 'Extended Fund Facility' program for Egypt."
Kozak explained that the first review of the Resilience and Sustainability Fund program will be conducted concurrently with the sixth review of the extended facility program after they are merged, confirming that the disbursement of any payments from the Resilience and Sustainability program will be conditional on the implementation of the agreed-upon reform measures.

She indicated that the accompanying report from the Fund's experts outlines the payment schedule, noting that the first review of the program will include an assessment of the implementation of two specific reforms, with each payment related to these reforms amounting to approximately $137 million.
She pointed out that the Fund believes that macroeconomic stability in Egypt paves the way for deeper reforms that enhance growth and create high-quality jobs, and support the economy's ability to withstand shocks and reduce vulnerabilities.
