أعلنت وزارة الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي المصرية إصدار تشريع أوروبي جديد (رقم 1289/2025) يهدف إلى تبسيط إجراءات تصدير بطاطس المائدة المصرية إلى دول الاتحاد الأوروبي، في خطوة تمثل إنجازاً كبيراً لدعم الصادرات الزراعية المصرية وتعزيز مكانتها في الأسواق العالمية.
وبحسب بيان رسمي صادر عن وزارة الزراعة المصرية، أوضح رئيس الإدارة المركزية للحجر الزراعي الدكتور محمد المنسي أن التشريع الجديد يتضمن تسهيلات مهمة، مثل زيادة وزن الشحنات المسموح بها، وتقليل عدد العينات المطلوبة للفحص، ما يخفض تكاليف التحليل عند وصول الشحنات إلى أوروبا.
وأضاف المنسي أن هذا الإنجاز تحقق بفضل التعاون المثمر بين الحجر الزراعي المصري، ومشروع مكافحة مرض العفن البني في البطاطس، واللجنة العليا لتنظيم تصدير البطاطس بوزارة الاستثمار والتجارة الخارجية، إضافة إلى المشاورات المكثفة مع الجانب الأوروبي.
وأكد أن هذه التسهيلات ستعزز تدفق صادرات البطاطس المصرية من المناطق الخالية من العفن البني إلى السوق الأوروبية، ما يدعم المزارعين والمصدرين المصريين.
وسجلت صادرات مصر من البطاطس رقماً قياسياً هذا العام، حيث تجاوزت 1.3 مليون طن لأول مرة، فيما يواصل الحجر الزراعي جهوده لفتح أسواق جديدة وضمان استدامة الصادرات إلى مختلف دول العالم.
The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation announced the issuance of a new European regulation (No. 1289/2025) aimed at simplifying the procedures for exporting Egyptian table potatoes to European Union countries, in a move that represents a significant achievement in supporting Egyptian agricultural exports and enhancing their position in global markets.
According to an official statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Mohamed El-Mansy, the head of the Central Administration for Agricultural Quarantine, explained that the new regulation includes important facilitations, such as increasing the weight of allowed shipments and reducing the number of samples required for inspection, which lowers analysis costs upon the arrival of shipments in Europe.
El-Mansy added that this achievement was made possible thanks to the fruitful cooperation between the Egyptian agricultural quarantine, the project to combat brown rot in potatoes, and the Supreme Committee for Regulating Potato Exports at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, in addition to intensive consultations with the European side.
He confirmed that these facilitations will enhance the flow of Egyptian potato exports from brown rot-free areas to the European market, thereby supporting Egyptian farmers and exporters.
Egypt's potato exports recorded a record number this year, exceeding 1.3 million tons for the first time, while the agricultural quarantine continues its efforts to open new markets and ensure the sustainability of exports to various countries around the world.
