أطلقت دارة الملك عبدالعزيز مبادرة «وثائق الدارة» بوصفها خطوة علمية لتنظيم الوثائق التاريخية الوطنية وإتاحتها للباحثين والمهتمين. وتركز المبادرة على إتاحة الوثائق التاريخية ذات القيمة العلمية بعد مرورها بمراحل متكاملة تشمل الترميم والمعالجة الفنية والحفظ والرقمنة، بما يضمن حفظها وفق معايير علمية متقدمة.
وتهدف المبادرة إلى إتاحة الوثائق بصورة منظمة تسهّل الوصول إليها، بما يعزز من دعم البحث العلمي والدراسات المتخصصة في تاريخ المملكة العربية السعودية والجزيرة العربية. كما تسعى إلى تمكين الباحثين والمهتمين من الوصول إلى مصادر تاريخية موثوقة، وتشجيع مشاركة الجمهور في استثمار محتوى الوثائق ونشره بأساليب متنوعة. وتولي المبادرة عناية خاصة بتحقيق التكامل بين حفظ الوثائق وتقديم خدمات رقمية متقدمة، تسهم في تعزيز الوعي بالتاريخ الوطني وتوثيقه.
وتستهدف المبادرة المهتمين بالتاريخ الوطني، والباحثين وطلاب الدراسات العليا، إضافة إلى المؤسسات التعليمية والثقافية، والإعلاميين وصنّاع المحتوى، لتكون الوثائق التاريخية أداةً علمية متاحة تدعم المعرفة وتغذي الوعي الوطني.
The King Abdulaziz Foundation launched the initiative "Documents of the Foundation" as a scientific step to organize national historical documents and make them available to researchers and interested parties. The initiative focuses on providing historical documents of scientific value after they undergo comprehensive stages that include restoration, technical processing, preservation, and digitization, ensuring their preservation according to advanced scientific standards.
The initiative aims to make the documents available in an organized manner that facilitates access, thereby enhancing support for scientific research and specialized studies in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula. It also seeks to empower researchers and interested individuals to access reliable historical sources and encourage public participation in utilizing and disseminating the content of the documents in various ways. The initiative pays special attention to achieving integration between document preservation and providing advanced digital services, contributing to raising awareness of national history and documenting it.
The initiative targets those interested in national history, researchers, and graduate students, in addition to educational and cultural institutions, media professionals, and content creators, so that historical documents become a scientific tool available to support knowledge and nourish national awareness.
