كشف الفنان السعودي محمد القس عن واقعة أثارت استياءه داخل الوسط الفني، مشيراً إلى أنه تعرض للسرقة بعدما فوجئ باستخدام فكرة ونص مشروع درامي سبق أن عمل عليه وناقشه مع أحد زملائه.
أزمة بسبب نص درامي
وأوضح القس في منشور عبر حساباته الرسمية أن المفاجأة جاءت بعد انتقال المشروع إلى مرحلة التنفيذ، إذ فوجئ بتقديم العمل إلى جهة إنتاجية ونسبته إلى شخص آخر، قبل أن يصل الأمر إلى طرح مواد دعائية للمسلسل والإعلان عن قرب عرضه عبر إحدى المنصات الرقمية.

وأشار الفنان السعودي إلى أن معرفته بالشخص المتهم جاءت من خلال الوسط الفني، وأنه كان قد اطلع على تفاصيل المشروع خلال مرحلة تطويره وهو ما جعل ظهور العمل بصيغة مختلفة ونسبته إلى غيره صدمة بالنسبة له.
ولفت إلى أن الأزمة لا تتعلق فقط بفكرة العمل وإنما بما اعتبره تعدياً على جهده وحقوقه الأدبية، خصوصاً أن المشروع مر بمراحل من الكتابة والتطوير قبل أن يظهر إلى الجمهور بشكل رسمي.
غياب الأدلة يعطل استرداد الحق
وأكد القس أن عدداً من المحيطين بالواقعة يعرفون تفاصيل ملكيته للمشروع ولكن ليس هناك مستندات أو أدلة مادية كافية، ما حال دون تمكنه من إثبات حقه بصورة قانونية، موضحاً أنه فوض أمره إلى الله في ظل عدم امتلاكه ما يكفي من إثباتات رسمية تمكنه من المطالبة بحقه.
Saudi artist Mohammed Al-Qass revealed an incident that upset him within the artistic community, indicating that he was subjected to theft after being surprised by the use of an idea and script for a dramatic project he had previously worked on and discussed with one of his colleagues.

Al-Qass explained in a post on his official accounts that the surprise came after the project moved to the execution phase, as he was shocked to see the work presented to a production entity and attributed to another person, before the matter escalated to the release of promotional materials for the series and announcing its imminent airing on one of the digital platforms.
Details of the incident
The Saudi artist pointed out that his acquaintance with the accused person came through the artistic community, and that he had been aware of the project details during its development phase, which made the work appearing in a different form and being attributed to someone else a shock for him.
He noted that the crisis is not only related to the idea of the work but also to what he considers an infringement on his effort and moral rights, especially since the project went through stages of writing and development before being presented to the audience officially.
Lack of evidence hinders the recovery of rights
Al-Qass confirmed that several people close to the incident are aware of the details of his ownership of the project, but there are no documents or sufficient material evidence, which has prevented him from legally proving his rights, explaining that he has entrusted his matter to God in light of not having enough official evidence to enable him to claim his rights.
