وكانت الدائرة 20 جنايات التجمع الأول قد أصدرت حكماً سابقاً بمعاقبة المتهمة بالحبس عاماً بتهمة تعاطي المواد المخدرة، في حين قضت ببراءتها من تهمة حيازة مادة «GHB» المعروفة إعلامياً بمخدر الاغتصاب.

وأظهرت التحقيقات أن المتهمة وُجهت إليها اتهامات بحيازة مواد مخدرة بقصد الاتجار، من بينها حمض جاما هيدروكسي بيوتيرك (GHB)، والحشيش، ومادة البريجابالين، وذلك في غير الأحوال المصرح بها قانونياً.
إعادة تقييم الأدلة
وجاء قرار الإفراج عقب مراجعة شاملة للملف من الجهات المختصة، وإعادة تقييم الأدلة، ما أسفر عن استبعاد الاتهامات المتعلقة بحيازة «GHB»، مع الإبقاء على العقوبة الصادرة بشأن تعاطي المخدرات، في تأكيد على التزام القضاء بتحقيق العدالة والدقة في التعامل مع قضايا المخدرات.
