زارت «عكاظ» نجم نادي النصر والمنتخب السعودي الكابتن عبدالرحمن البيشي في أحد المستشفيات الخاصة بالرياض، بعد خروجه من العناية المركزة ونقله بطائرة الإخلاء الطبي من الدمام إلى العاصمة.
وأوضح البيشي في حديثه إلى «عكاظ» أنه الآن بصحة جيدة، عقب مكوثه في العناية المركزة لأكثر من 27 يوماً، مطالباً في الوقت ذاته بدعمه عبر توفير ممرضة تساعد زوجته للاعتناء به لظروفه الصحية الصعبة.
وقال البيشي وهو يتحدث كتابياً ويترجم عبر جهاز ناطق: «أتقدم بالشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين، وولي عهده الأمين، والأمير تركي بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز على ما قدموه لمساعدتي في العلاج وتوفير الرعاية الطبية اللازمة لحالتي، وهو ليس غريباً على قيادتنا الرشيدة».
وأضاف: «كما أشكر أسرتي ووالدي وزوجتي على اهتمامهم ورعايتهم، ومتابعتهم الدائمة لي».
من جانبه، ناشد بديع البيشي (والد الكابتن عبدالرحمن)، خلال حديثه مع «عكاظ»، وزير الرياضة، والقيادات الرياضية بالوقوف مع ابنه الذي خدم الكرة السعودية من خلال نادي النصر والمنتخب.
وقال: «عبدالرحمن يحتاج إلى الموافقة على نقله للمستشفى التخصصي بالرياض وفقاً للتقارير الطبية لحالته الصحية الآن».
وتابع: «منذ وصولنا إلى العاصمة عبر الإخلاء الطبي من الدمام ما زلنا ننتظر موافقة التخصصي لاستقباله».
من جهتها، أبدت زوجة الكابتن عبدالرحمن تخوفها من عدم نقله بالسرعة المطلوبة، خصوصاً أن الطاقم الطبي الحالي غير ملم بحالته الصحية بشكل جيد، وهو ما ينعكس على تحسنه وخطة علاجه، ما يستدعي نقله العاجل إلى التخصصي.
"Okaz" visited the star of Al-Nassr Club and the Saudi national team, Captain Abdulrahman Al-Bishi, in a private hospital in Riyadh, after his discharge from intensive care and his transfer by medical evacuation flight from Dammam to the capital.
Al-Bishi explained in his conversation with "Okaz" that he is now in good health, after spending more than 27 days in intensive care, while also requesting support by providing a nurse to assist his wife in taking care of him due to his difficult health conditions.
Al-Bishi, speaking in writing and translating through a speaking device, said: "I would like to thank the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and Prince Turki bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for what they have done to assist me in my treatment and provide the necessary medical care for my condition, which is not surprising from our wise leadership."
He added: "I also thank my family, my parents, and my wife for their care and attention, and their constant follow-up with me."
For his part, Badi Al-Bishi (the father of Captain Abdulrahman) called on the Minister of Sports and sports leaders during his conversation with "Okaz" to support his son, who has served Saudi football through Al-Nassr Club and the national team.
He said: "Abdulrahman needs approval for his transfer to the specialized hospital in Riyadh according to the medical reports regarding his current health condition."
He continued: "Since our arrival in the capital via medical evacuation from Dammam, we are still waiting for the specialized hospital's approval to receive him."
For her part, Captain Abdulrahman's wife expressed her concern about the delay in his transfer, especially since the current medical team is not well-acquainted with his health condition, which affects his improvement and treatment plan, necessitating his urgent transfer to the specialized hospital.
