كشف المخرج المصري كريم الشناوي مشروعه الدرامي الجديد الذي يجمعه بالفنانة المصرية منة شلبي، موضحاً أن العمل ما يزال في مرحلة الإعداد الأولى، إذ يعكف الصناع حالياً على عمليات كتابة السيناريو إلى جانب معاينة مواقع التصوير.

«عنبر الموت» قيد التحضير
وأشار الشناوي، على هامش تواجده في حفل توزيع جوائز ساويرس الثقافية الـ 21، إلى أن المسلسل يحمل عنوان «عنبر الموت»، ومن المقرر انطلاق تصويره خلال الفترة القريبة المقبلة، على أن تستكمل مراحل التصوير بعد انتهاء موسم رمضان.
رؤية مختلفة عن «لام شمسية»
وأعرب المخرج عن سعادته وحماسه للتعاون مجدداً مع منة شلبي، لافتاً إلى أن العمل من ورشة الكاتبة مريم نعوم، ويشارك في صناعته عدد من فريق عمل مسلسل «لام شمسية»، إلا أنه أكد أن المشروع الجديد يقدم رؤية درامية مختلفة كلياً من حيث الفكرة والنوع.

على جانب آخر، تخوض منة شلبي موسم دراما رمضان 2026 بمسلسل «الحب والحرب»، ويجمع العمل كلاً من إياد نصار، ونخبة من أبرز النجوم العرب والعالمين، والعمل من تأليف عمار صبري، وإخراج بيتر ميمي.
Egyptian director Karim El Shenawy revealed his new drama project that brings him together with Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby, explaining that the work is still in the initial preparation stage, as the creators are currently focused on writing the script alongside scouting filming locations.

"Death Chamber" is in preparation
El Shenawy noted, on the sidelines of the 21st Sawiris Cultural Awards ceremony, that the series is titled "Death Chamber," and filming is scheduled to begin in the near future, with the shooting phases to continue after the Ramadan season.
A different vision from "Lam Shamsiya"
The director expressed his happiness and excitement to collaborate again with Menna Shalaby, pointing out that the work comes from the workshop of writer Mariam Naoum, and several members of the team from the series "Lam Shamsiya" are involved. However, he confirmed that the new project offers a completely different dramatic vision in terms of concept and genre.

On another note, Menna Shalaby is set to take on the Ramadan 2026 drama season with the series "Love and War," which features Iyad Nassar and a selection of the most prominent Arab and international stars. The work is written by Ammar Sabry and directed by Peter Mimi.
