غيب الموت، مساء (الخميس) الإعلامية والإذاعية المصرية منال هيكل، رئيسة شبكة إذاعة صوت العرب السابقة بالإذاعة المصرية، بعد مسيرة مهنية حافلة بالعطاء امتدت لعقود في خدمة الإعلام العربي والمصري.
وأعلنت الكاتبة والناقدة الدكتورة عزة هيكل، ابنة عم الراحلة، خبر الوفاة عبر حسابها الشخصي على فيسبوك، حيث كتبت:"البقاء لله توفيت اليوم ابنة عمي الغالية الإعلامية القديرة السيدة منال محمد هيكل رئيسة شبكة إذاعة صوت العرب، رحمة الله عليها، وربنا يصبّرنا على فراقها".
لم يُعلن حتى الآن عن أسباب الوفاة بشكل رسمي، ومن المتوقع إقامة مراسم الجنازة والعزاء خلال الساعات أو الأيام المقبلة، مع نعي واسع من الهيئة الوطنية للإعلام وعدد من الزملاء والقيادات الإذاعية.
مسيرة مهنية بارزة
تخرجت منال هيكل من كلية الإعلام بجامعة القاهرة قسم الإذاعة والتليفزيون عام 1985. بدأت مسيرتها العملية بالتدريب في الإذاعة والتلفزيون خلال سنوات الدراسة، ثم عملت لمدة عام ونصف في مجال الإخراج التليفزيوني، قبل أن تنتقل إلى الإذاعة المصرية وتكون بدايتها الحقيقية في شبكة صوت العرب.
وتولت منصب مدير عام البرامج القومية بشبكة صوت العرب، وتدرجت فى المناصب حتى تولت رئاسة شبكة الإذاعات الإقليمية، ثم أصبحت رئيسة لشبكة صوت العرب منذ عام 2022، وكانت من أبرز القيادات الإذاعية التي ساهمت في تطوير الخطاب الإعلامي العربي.
وقدمت وأشرفت على العديد من البرامج البارزة، من أبرزها: مساحة للحوار، البانوراما الإخبارية، الموسوعة السياسية، بيت العرب، مجلة الوطن العربي، المنتدى الاقتصادي، كما ارتبط اسمها ببرامج ثقافية ووطنية مثل "بنات أفكاري" الذي كان يغطي الأحداث الثقافية والفنية في مصر والعالم العربي.
نعي الوطنية للإعلام
بدورها، نعت الهيئة الوطنية للإعلام الراحلة ببالغ الحزن، مشيدة بمسيرتها الحافلة بالعطاء والإعلام المهني المتميز، وقالت الوطنية للإعلام: لقد فقدنا قيمة إعلامية متميزة قدمت من خلال رئاستها للإذاعات الإقليمية وصوت العرب أفكار ورؤى أسهمت فى تطوير العمل وتقديم محتوى برامجى إذاعى تنويرى توعوي، رحم الله الإذاعية القديرة، وخالص العزاء والمواساة لأسرتها ولجميع الزملاء بالهيئة الوطنية للإعلام، داعين الله عز وجل لها بالمغفرة والرحمة، وأن يسكنها فسيح جناته
نعي رئيس إذاعة القرآن الكريم
كما نعاها رئيس شبكة إذاعة القرآن الكريم الإذاعي إسماعيل دويدار، وعدد من الإعلاميين والمؤسسات.
وكتب دويدار عبر صفحته الشخصية على موقع التواصل الاجتماعى:إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون، وكأنها جاءت تلقى علينا نظرة أخيرة منذ أيام قليلة، وكان حديثها حديث مودّع، رحمكِ الله الأخت الغالية الخلوقة الراقية منال هيكل رئيسة إذاعة صوت العرب، اختاركِ الله فى أيام الرحمات والمغفرة والعتق من النيران، أسألكم الدعاء لها بالرحمة والمغفرة وقراءة الفاتحة على روحها الطاهرة».
The Egyptian media and radio personality Manal Haikal, former head of the Voice of Arabs radio network at the Egyptian radio, passed away on Thursday evening after a long and fruitful professional career spanning decades in the service of Arab and Egyptian media.
The writer and critic Dr. Azza Haikal, the cousin of the deceased, announced the news of her passing through her personal Facebook account, where she wrote: "To God we belong and to Him we shall return. Today, my dear cousin, the esteemed media figure Mrs. Manal Mohamed Haikal, head of the Voice of Arabs network, has passed away. May God have mercy on her, and may He grant us patience in her absence."
The official cause of death has not yet been announced, and it is expected that funeral and mourning ceremonies will be held in the coming hours or days, with widespread condolences from the National Media Authority and several colleagues and radio leaders.
Distinguished Professional Career
Manal Haikal graduated from the Faculty of Media at Cairo University, specializing in radio and television, in 1985. She began her professional journey with training in radio and television during her studies, then worked for a year and a half in television directing before moving to Egyptian radio, where her true career began at the Voice of Arabs network.
She held the position of General Director of National Programs at the Voice of Arabs network and progressed through various positions until she became the head of the Regional Radio Networks, and then the head of the Voice of Arabs since 2022. She was one of the prominent radio leaders who contributed to the development of Arab media discourse.
She presented and supervised many notable programs, including: A Space for Dialogue, the News Panorama, the Political Encyclopedia, the Arab House, the Arab World Magazine, and the Economic Forum. Her name was also associated with cultural and national programs such as "Daughters of My Thoughts," which covered cultural and artistic events in Egypt and the Arab world.
Condolences from the National Media Authority
For its part, the National Media Authority mourned the deceased with great sadness, praising her fruitful career in distinguished professional media. The National Media Authority stated: "We have lost a distinguished media figure who, through her presidency of the regional radios and the Voice of Arabs, presented ideas and visions that contributed to the development of work and the provision of enlightening and educational radio program content. May God have mercy on the esteemed broadcaster, and our sincere condolences and sympathy go to her family and all colleagues at the National Media Authority, praying to God Almighty for her forgiveness and mercy, and that He grants her a place in His vast paradise."
Condolences from the Head of Quran Radio
The head of the Quran Radio network, broadcaster Ismail Dweidar, along with several media figures and institutions, also mourned her.
Dweidar wrote on his personal social media page: "To God we belong and to Him we shall return. It was as if she came to give us a final glance just a few days ago, and her words were those of farewell. May God have mercy on you, dear sister, the noble and refined Manal Haikal, head of the Voice of Arabs. God chose you in the days of mercy, forgiveness, and liberation from the fire. I ask you to pray for her mercy and forgiveness and to recite Al-Fatiha for her pure soul."
