The family of the Egyptian artist Mohamed Henedy mourned his older brother Hisham Henedy, as the funeral prayer was held for him at Al-Ridwan Mosque in the Mohandessin area of Giza Governorate, before his body was laid to rest, amidst a state of sadness that overwhelmed the attendees.

The funeral was attended by a number of stars from the artistic community who were keen to offer their condolences and support to Mohamed Henedy, including Hani Ramzy, Khaled Zaki, Lablaba, Sherif Baher, Medhat El Adl, Sabry Fawaz, Hossam Dagher, and Mahmoud Hafiz.

Attendance from Family and Close Friends

Family members of the deceased, friends, and several close acquaintances also gathered to participate in the farewell ceremonies and provide support to Mohamed Henedy's family, in a scene dominated by feelings of sadness and emotion.

Mohamed Henedy announced the death of his brother Hisham yesterday via his official accounts, without revealing details or reasons for the death, clarifying that the condolences would be limited to the funeral prayer, and he requested his fans and loved ones to pray for the deceased for mercy and forgiveness.

Cancellation of the Private Screening

In a different context, the death of Mohamed Henedy's brother coincided with the preparations for the private screening of his new film "The Jeweler" in Egypt before its release in cinemas, which led him to cancel the private screening out of respect for the circumstances he is going through.

The film "The Jeweler" will be released in cinemas on August 5, featuring Mohamed Henedy and Mona Zaki in a joint lead role, along with a selection of artists. The work is written by Omar Taher and directed by Islam Khairy.
