جمع الشاعر صالح العامري بين شعر العرضة والنظم والشيلات، وفرض حضوره مبكراً بجرأة منحته القدرة على اقتحام الصفوف ومواجهة اختبارات الساحة. ويؤكد العامري احترامه لجميع الشعراء، ورفضه المهاترات أو تجاوز الثوابت، مشدداً على أن العرضة الجنوبية موروث يظل محتفظاً برونقه مهما اتجه بعض الشعراء والجمهور إلى الشيلات.
• هل أنت شاعر؟
•• سؤالك أنت من يجيب عنه!
• أريد الإجابة منك، مهمتي أن أسأل وأنت تجيب.
•• إذاً خذها بكل ثقة: أنا شاعر، وأحلم بأن أصبح «أستاذ شعر»، ولا تسألني كيف!
• كيف جمعت بين شعر العرضة والنظم والشيلات؟
•• وجدت نفسي مبكراً في شعر العرضة، وجرأتي قادتني إلى اقتحام الصفوف، وهي ساحة قد تقبلك من المرة الأولى أو ترفضك منذ البداية.
• وهل قبلتك هذه الساحة؟
•• لو لم تقبلني لما استمررت فيها، فقد أصبحت اليوم جزءاً مني. أما الشيلات، فلي فيها بصمة، باعتباري من أوائل الذين طرقوا بابها في العرضيات وما جاورها.
• وماذا عن النظم؟
•• لدي محاولات كثيرة في هذا الجانب، وأنت شاهد على بعضها.
• هل خفت حضور شعر العرضة الجنوبية أو مات؟
•• ما زال حياً يُرزق، ولا يمكن أن يختفي. لكنني أقول بصدق، إن هناك من فضّل الشيلات خلال الآونة الأخيرة، ومع ذلك سيظل للعرضة رونقها الخاص.
• في ساحة العرضة لم نجد لك محاورات شرسة مع الشعراء.. هل هو توجه أم خوف من الوقوع في الزلل؟
•• الشراسة المحببة التي لا تخرج عن حدود الأدب موجودة، خصوصاً عندما تكون المواجهة معنية باختبار القدرات. ولا أنكر أنني جاريت في بعض المناسبات شعراء حاولوا تسجيل موقف على حسابي، لكنني تعاملت معهم بأسلوب أكسبني احترامهم.
• مع من حدث ذلك؟
•• يصعب تحديد الأسماء، لكنني واجهت مواقف كثيرة وتجاوزتها دون المساس بالثوابت.
• أيهما أكثر صعوبة.. شعر العرضة أم شعر المحاورة؟
•• شاعر العرضة يستطيع الإبداع في شعر القلطة، فيما يستطيع بعض شعراء المحاورة، وليس جميعهم، تسجيل حضور في ساحة العرضة. لكن في المجمل، أرى أن ساحتنا أكثر تعقيداً.
• هل توجد حروب خفية بين شعراء العرضة؟
•• في أي مجال، سواء الرياضة أو الفن أو الشعر، لا بد من وجود مثل هذه الحروب بسبب التنافس، لكن على الصعيد الشخصي لا أجيد هذا النوع من الحروب، ولا أملك أدواته.
• هل هناك شعراء تستمتع بوجودهم معك في الحفلات؟
•• الأسماء كثيرة، والساحة ممتلئة بالشعراء، لكن وجود أي من مصلح بن عياد، وعبدالله بن عقاب، وعبدالواحد الزهراني، ومصلح الساعدي معي في أي حفلة يمنحني جواً شعرياً مختلفاً.
• تقصد اجتماعهم في حفلة واحدة؟
•• لو اجتمعوا فسيكون ذلك «لقاء السحاب»، لكنني أقصد أن لقاء أي واحد منهم في حفلة يمنحني قوة من نوع آخر.
• كيف تكون هذه القوة؟
•• في التركيز والاستمتاع ونوعية الشعر.
• هل أثّر اعتزال عبدالواحد الزهراني على الساحة؟
•• جداً.. جداً.. جداً.
• وماذا بعد «جداً»؟
•• يا ليته يعود.. فمقعده ما زال شاغراً.
The poet Saleh Al-Amri combines the poetry of Al-Arda, structured poetry, and shaylat, establishing his presence early on with a boldness that granted him the ability to break into the ranks and face the challenges of the arena. Al-Amri emphasizes his respect for all poets and his rejection of quarrels or crossing established boundaries, stressing that the southern Arda is a heritage that retains its charm regardless of some poets and the audience turning to shaylat.
• Are you a poet?
•• Your question is one that answers itself!
• I want the answer from you; my job is to ask, and yours is to respond.
•• Then take this with confidence: I am a poet, and I dream of becoming a "master of poetry," so don’t ask me how!
• How did you combine the poetry of Al-Arda, structured poetry, and shaylat?
•• I found myself early on in the poetry of Al-Arda, and my boldness led me to break into the ranks, which is an arena that may accept you from the first attempt or reject you from the start.
• Did this arena accept you?
•• If it hadn't accepted me, I wouldn't have continued in it; it has become a part of me today. As for shaylat, I have left my mark in it, being one of the first to knock on its door in the Al-Arda and its surroundings.
• And what about structured poetry?
•• I have many attempts in this area, and you are a witness to some of them.
• Have you noticed a decline in the presence of southern Al-Arda poetry or its death?
•• It is still alive and well, and it cannot disappear. But I honestly say that some have preferred shaylat recently; nonetheless, Al-Arda will always have its unique charm.
• In the arena of Al-Arda, we haven't found fierce debates with poets... Is it a trend or fear of making mistakes?
•• The beloved fierceness that does not exceed the limits of decorum exists, especially when the confrontation is concerned with testing abilities. I do not deny that I have competed with some poets on occasions who tried to make a point at my expense, but I dealt with them in a way that earned their respect.
• With whom did that happen?
•• It is difficult to specify names, but I have faced many situations and passed through them without touching the established norms.
• Which is more difficult... the poetry of Al-Arda or the poetry of debate?
•• A poet of Al-Arda can be creative in the poetry of Qalta, while some poets of debate, though not all, can make their presence felt in the arena of Al-Arda. But overall, I see our arena as more complex.
• Are there hidden wars among the poets of Al-Arda?
•• In any field, whether sports, art, or poetry, such wars must exist due to competition, but on a personal level, I do not excel in this type of warfare, nor do I possess its tools.
• Are there poets whose presence you enjoy at events?
•• There are many names, and the arena is filled with poets, but the presence of any of Musleh bin Ayad, Abdullah bin Uqab, Abdulwahid Al-Zahrani, and Musleh Al-Saadi with me at any event gives me a different poetic atmosphere.
• You mean their gathering at one event?
•• If they gathered, it would be a "cloud meeting," but I mean that meeting any one of them at an event gives me a strength of a different kind.
• What kind of strength is that?
•• In focus, enjoyment, and the quality of poetry.
• Did Abdulwahid Al-Zahrani's retirement affect the arena?
•• Very much... very much... very much.
• And what comes after "very much"?
•• I wish he would return... for his seat is still vacant.
